I just finished painting another bearded Taylor and touched up his skin tones as well. I just popped it on the Sideshow body along with JJ's custom blanket and the black "ointment" on Taylor’s right shoulder. I think he looks that much better.

This explosive gorilla actually looks keyed up! Now that he’s properly geared up, he is going to inflict some serious “stinging action” on those humans! :whip

Here’s the TV gorilla with his teeth painted. Sorry about the glare…

What's this gorillas name? Anyone know?

The silver "M” equals what rank?
The silver "V” equals what rank?
The silver "II” equals what rank?

Lastly, I refer to this gorilla as my werewolf gorilla. He reminds me so much of the werewolf (as his snout grows) in "An American Werewolf in London."

This one is going back on my paint table this weekend, I know I can do much better with the brown skin coloring.

Wow, looking back I don't think I ever made the V. Ohh and I made my stripes white.

Was there ever a single stripe? Hmm.

I agree. Maybe he has a little baboon in him?

They didn't carry canteens either but I had to add more to these soldiers. My ape army sure has morphed.

I don't think baboons are considered apes. I'm not sure why that is. Do you?

Here's what I found.

"Apes are not monkeys, but are larger, more mobile, and smarter. An easy way to separate apes from monkeys is that almost all monkeys have tails, while apes do not. So gorillas are apes and baboons are monkeys."

That's it for me... :rip

Here are a couple more ape's that I just started on. I'm also working on creating a pair of boots that will eventually belong to Lt. Stewart. I'm going to try and make them the same color as the Sideshow boots.

He looks wonderful!!!

Sticks--I can't afford the gorilla soldier now, but I am hoping to acquire him sometime in the future. I have General Ursus and the Captain only.

OK guys...I am ready to fire up this guy before I mess him up, which at this point is really easy to do. His nose is so freaking fragile at the moment. Any constructive criticism before I fire him up?
