I merely commented that the choice of Silk Spectre II was weak. I've heard this echoed in quite a few posts here on the forum. I think that if they introduced the line with a much stronger character like say Rorschach or Dr. Manhattan the response to the line would have been stronger. I fear that the choice of Spectre II might give Hot Toys the wrong idea on how popular of Watchmen line would be. Although brilliantly realized by Hot Toys as a figure, Silk Spectre would be more of a "completists only" figure... well, she is in my book.

I do think that Comedian or Rorsach would have been a better choice. But, hot chicks from Hot Toys. What can I say?

And Jess, I'm only busting on ya!! I know he'll rock!!

Soooo, Tuesday I get my hopes up when I hear a delivery truck stop in front of the house. The bell rings. Its a Girl Scout leader package for my wife.

Wednesday, the bell rings, its one of my wife's customer's items being delivered.

Thursday - another Girl Scout leader package.

Today - Hot Toys General Ursus and Gorilla Soldier!! :chew

How do you like them? I only have Ursus so far. I bought a used Gorilla off of eBay and when I get him, I hope to take some pics of him looking through the window of my mutant jail.

If there ever were enough people here interested in obtaining the camera I would make them for everyone. I'm thinking about $15-$20 each for the camera and tripod package. I'd want at least 5 people committed before ever starting such a project.

Not a bad day.
Got the HT apes, well...two of them.
Worked a bit more on the 6 simians. I don't want to rush these. If these work out well then I can start adapting others.
Studied the FatMan mask to see where I'm going wrong.
Made my own POTA partition, such as it is. Still need to fine tune it but it just might do the trick.
Oh, yeah! I threw together a custom "WTF" simian.
