What paints do you plan on using? I'd love to hear your ideas.

Will these sculpts fit on the old BUCK bodies, new PRO bodies, or HT bodies? It's hard to see the neck post in the pics.


Angel, I hope you get inspired again. Your projects are too cool to sit idol for long. I personally love your Court Diorama scene, and Lady Liberty is just pushing the envelope. She has such high hopes to being the coolest thing in one's collection. I hope your passion finds you again after the holidays.

Hi Jess! I think that you have nailed the features of Dodge including the perfect hair! Please put me down for one if you intend on selling these fabuloso sculpts. I wish that I had your sculpting talent, because you have magical hands. How the heck are you getting so good, so fast? The nose is great and the lines on the forehead are incredible. Angel, that Bloody lawgiver is already climbing in price, and quickly. I have no idea why people bid on things with so much time remaining. There are still five days left! Another thing I've experienced on ebay is the manipulation of bids by sellers with multiple accounts, and when they aren't outbid they write back to say the other bidder didn't come through and ask if the next person (real winner) wants to buy it at the new higher price Just an experience I have encountered numerous times, so I steer clear of Ebay most of the time.

It's like going to a Tag Sale and asking "How much" only to get some ridiculous price. It makes one wonder if the seller is really trying to sell the item or just showing it off.


We should take an inside poll and guess how much the awesome bloody is going to go for. My guess is $150.
I threw in an early bid but I know I will surely be outbid.

I'd think the bloody LG would sell between $150 - $225. It actually started off as a buy it now item for $299.00 + $25 for shipping.

I have been in and out of misery since Friday with a really bad cold and a flu. Today I decided to stay home just one more day to recuperate. Yesterday my temperature stayed normal. I am....alive!!!

Guys I decided to try to make a mold of Pete. Wish me luck. It's been awhile since I did this. It's curing now. I noticed a lot of air bubbles, even though I poured the mold resin very slowly. The wait is making me nervous. I'll find out tonight how it goes. I'll keep you posted.

Wookster has said that there are more apes in the pipeline from Hot Toys. We just have to be patient. They just can't stop at the gorillas.

I hope so. IMHO, the Gorillas been selling well from the US vendors and are getting scarce to find.

Any figure we get will be exciting news! I'm psyched to see anything HT does with these Apes. Dr. Z, Corny, and Zira would be huge additions. Imagine if we even get a Taylor and a Nova!

I just found three DiD boxes of figures I bought last year and stored away with my Native American Figures. I even found my Dragon horse I forgot I shipped here for my father to see. Anyways, I realized one of them comes with this head sculpt.

I wonder how he'll look next to the HT gorillas. Darken the hair maybe? Dirty him up a bit?

Sticks I forgot to answer your question earlier. I'm going to paint up the resin cast with acrylic paint, and I do have an ANSA suit laying around that I ordered more than a year ago. I would really like to see Dodge painted up in a dirtied ANSA uniform with dirt from the Forbidden Zone.

Sticks how do you plan to get the hair of your figure to a dark brown? And how are you going to add a beard?

11 PM--the mold has cured properly. I was able to take out Pete's head without tearing the mold. I will pour some liquid resin in there tomorrow and hopefully it will be a good mold. The only bummer is I'm going back to the saltmines tomorrow so it will have to wait until after I get back home.

Good morning Jessica,

I was thinking maybe applying a couple dabs of shoe polish.

For the beard, I was thinking about using burn't cork, and smudging it in, more like a 5 O'Clock shadow. What do you think. I would ask Angel for a beard again but I'm not sure if a sculpted beard would work well with the rooted hair. What do you guys think?
