Guys...they revised my schedule at the slavemines and cut my work hours to half. This means I seriously have to find something else to pay my crafting habit. I won't know my new schedule for a couple of days.

Yeah...my slavemine situation sucks. Although my glass is murky and full of dregs, I still make a toast to the new year and consider it half full. Also, it's the kick in the ass I need to get rolling. Cloud I have never seen that photo before. Who is under that makeup, and do you have any background info on it?

Here's a photo of my swing jacket. I love it so much.

I'm in the middle of shrinking the Sideshow Zira sculpt with the hair I added to Mego scale. I am posting it here to show you guys that the mold came out well and bubble free. The casting material I used really cures quickly and I was aiming for a smooth face. I can always resculpt the hair no biggie. Now if only I can find the magic elixir to make a cast grow without having to resculpt, then I'm all set. Still trying to make Pete happen without having to resculpt him. If I have to resculpt him, then oh well, more practice which I need anyway. I'll let you know how that goes.

That's funnyman Kevin Murphy from Mystery Science Theater 3000. At one point they visit the Planet of the Apes and Professor Bobo becomes a part of the main cast. Despite his distinguished doctorate in anthropology he is exceptionally stupid, but very lovable.

Whoa--missed your post Angel about the background/underground set of the mutants. That is going to be really exciting to do...also very unique!! I hope you post progress shots so I can feel like I'm right there with you every step of the way.

Angel, any idea on what you plan to use? Plaster of Paris? That way you can get an appearance of something running like a stalactite or something that melted. Maybe while it's still drying you could use some gray and black dye and spray it down to get some cool effects. Add a nice stain glass, some church pews, stairs, Organ pipes etc. etc.

Or are you planing the Stairway archway scene where it shows the group shot of Mutant Leaders?

Inquiring minds want to know.

That sucks! I just let 2 $50 gift cards expire at the end of the year, because SS took the figure stands out of eligibility the last day. I would have bought some Apes if they posted them last month.
