It's easy to defend the new system if it worked for you but it would appear that some email links didn't work which resulted to ending up too far in the back of the line to get the good days.

Glad some Freaks got in. Atleast it didn't crash as reported last year. But the bogus links were just as big a Fail as a site crash.

I agree that sucks about the link. I'm glad I didn't even bother with it or I would be cussing up a storm too. But the new system I think is better...no crashing.

I wish there was a way to transfer tickets. A friend is going to cancel his 4 day pass that I waited in a long ass line for last year.

Well I guess I won't be going again this year, It said the waiting room was full. I'm not really surprised because of how late it
is. I do miss how these badges sold 3-4 years ago when getting in with pre-view night was no big deal. There's always next year.

The link being screwed up and that sucks. I feel bad for those that it sent further back in line.

^^ I completely agree with you.

Sucks about not being able to secure your badges the year prior though, but it will make it fair for everyone provided that we are guided in the right direction to begin with.

I was 2,448 to be exact. Dang. That email link not working is really what killed me. I wasted 10 minutes on that thing and that was all it took! :banghead:

I really wish they'd have given a PPO to those who had 4 days the previous year as a loyalty thing. :(

The loyalty thing is what everyone was asking about at the B__ch session panel after the show last year.

They were completely against that idea as it would not make it fair to everyone. That blows though cause it means alienating all those older supporters who have been sticking by the show for 15-20 years!?!?

It didn't really make sense for them to have the portal open on the front page since they said folks without member IDs could get in and just clog up the system.

...wish I would have thought of that though. 10 minutes dealing with the link which eventually took me to the front page but was already too late...and I was about 2-3 thousand people in front of u BM!

I'm betting there will be plenty of cancellations.
And I do wish that the badges could be transferred- Jen, Sara and I will be cancelling our 4-Days since we scored Preview today...
