Well I have been gone for awhile so ya gotta hold my hand on some of this. Like the time I called Dusty a 'she'.
No worries...though that is sarcasm with the Dusty thing right?!?

So whos ordering this?
Just wondering because would you be pissed ordering the EX receiving it and then SS brings out a "Twilight Shades of Mordor" Variant piece?
It's a separate piece. So, as you say....placeable. And it's awesome. The whole diorama is awesome as a matter a fact.
GG and I were discussing this earlier and wondered if the excl. description of "Frodo Companion Piece" refers to simply a Frodo figure, or to Frodo on a separate base.
Count me in for that Q as well (obviously)...though I doubt we will get the answer until friday
Actually GG, I don't believe we will have to wait beyond tomorrow.

Oooh thanks Woodsy Looking forward to seeing that 'additional information'
I'm kind of in two minds whether I would prefer Frodo if he was seperate or not, on one hand it would be great if he was seperate, because that would almost mean two pieces for the price of one and prolly a more flexible display option but on the other hand, having a seperate piece may break up the flow of the whole diorama
True enough, although it could be a separate piece of base that fits to the main base like a piece of a puzzle...obviously this is all just speculation at this point, and I imagine all our questions will be answered by tomorrow.
I'm a she.
A Twilight Shades of Mordor variant would be fantastic. I wouldn't even ask for credit for suggesting one if Sideshow produced it. JK.
Sideshow's Ringwraith LSB and the Twilight Ringwraith LSB were exactly the same pose, but with the different paint schemes and portraits, so there is precedent for doing this sort of thing.
A poster on the Sideshow site brought up an interesting point...if the exclusive piece is the Frodo companion piece, what does the regular dio look like? Will it just be the five Ringwraiths advancing menacingly at Amon Sul towards…nothing? It would be silly to have the regular dio missing Frodo as the dio depicts the scene on Weathertop where they are advancing towards Frodo. Could it be that the regular edition has the Ringwraiths advancing towards the translucent Frodo as he has slipped the One Ring on, and the excusive is the Frodo companion piece where he is about to put on the ring? Speculation, yes, but that's what these boards are for.

This has been discussed before, and certainly that scenario isn't without precedent.
I don't think too many people would be upset about a twilight version, esp. if you are talking about one in which the wraiths appear in trueform. And if it's limited to 100 pieces, and I get one....then I really won't be upset.
