I knew it was a failure when I first seen that ASM1 suit. Why? WHY?!

But the second one sure made up for it!

The suit , the stupid parents plot, the confident Peter douch Parker, the ugly lizard design , the terrible story. It was a mess. The fight scenes were also awful. No energy whatsoever. I’d love to see him in now way home with better direction.

I don’t know why they didn’t use hobgoblin for Harry. He became hobgoblin in the ultimate comics and it literally makes sense.

After two weeks i can finally function normally, i couldn’t breathe for the last couple of weeks, to be honest life in texas is business as usual and theater’s don’t distance you anymore, I didn’t Want anyone else to go what i go through but my girlfriends babydaddy is a PoS who does whatever he wants and when his daughter came back we all got sick, figures, even my newborn tested positive but it wasn’t that bad.

This movie still breaking records hopefully I can see it this upcoming weekend I hope. It feels totally weird when you want to do something but you really can’t.

With all the crying memes and the Bully Maguire stuff I thought a lot of people had turned on him and his portrayal but the general vibe I'm getting in advance of No Way Home is that people are going to be disgusted if Tobey isn't in it. There seems to still be a lot of love for him as Spiderman.

I reckon he was always well regarded as 'the best' Spiderman. Some even state his casting is akin to that of Christopher Reeve as Superman.

Not counting Nicholas Hammond, he was the first and the one people of a certain age will always see as Peter/Spidey, even though Garfield came along not that far down the road. Plus, personally, I just enjoyed Maguire's performance and movies more.

Saw it in Imax lastnight (was supposed to be thursday night but storm changed my plans) and it was my first Imax viewing since Spiderman FFH and the first packed screening since Spiderman FFH, BW was nowhere as filled as this.

I will say this as a “representation” movie it utterly blows away BP absolutely destroys it way better with everything. Seriously BP is trash next to this.

Will there be some jealousy lol

BW is also garbage compared to this movie then again so is TSS.

It’s true some of the best “fantasy” martial arts choreography put on film super dynamic and thrilling to watch especially with the rings which were well utilized.

Ok with that now out of the way Marvel phase 4 is in absolute shambles they are just throwing everything cosmic at the wall to see what sticks.

They don’t even know which multiverse creating device/plot they want to go with they are jumping from Wanda to Loki to DS to Kang to Spiderman to Ten Rings it is a convoluted mess.

The humor was also super cringing ughhh.

Initially I wasn’t buying into the Mandarin plot it just wasn’t working for me I was calling BS on all of if his existence and motivations but I ultimately just accepted that he was

Look I didn’t hate it and the cgi was spectacular (over head forest shots) and maybe as a stand-alone fantasy Kung Fu movie I can enjoy it but Marvel phase 4 is truly lost in translation.

Gamera 3 Iris and King Ghidorah hybrid kaiju in this the beast was really well visualized and actually pretty damn frightening to behold well done Marvel once again they out do WB it made Starro look even more silly lol

Godzilla franchise is looking really bad now

The masked villain was cool looking that Hot Toys will look sweet.

I certainly don’t regret seeing it on Imax but i’m left indifferent I guess is the word.

I didn’t buy his sister taking over the Ten Rings organization at the final end credits scene after what they went thru together.

Look if you are one of those already fully dead inside with one foot in the grave at 40 to 55 years old and are just here to remind everyone that humanity can’t end fast enough for your liking then please go watch this so that we can enjoy your same review as the previous 100 superhero fantasy sci-fi movies you watched I do enjoy engaging in those discussions. I’m serious I might need to cross that bridge one day lol

If you are one of those adults who Kathleen Kennedy keeps you up at night even worse than if you think the government has your porn viewing records then no need to watch it just stick to Gina Carano’s future blockbuster projects.

Everyone else who is an MCU diehard and are vaccinated definitely go watch it on Imax or a Dolby Cinema and if you are not vaccinated go watch it anyways don’t worry about covid new variant it only made Joe Rogen sick for 1 day you are good to go.

But i’m guessing most MCU diehards are ready to hang up their MCU hats I know I am….

I thought it was OK... I liked the main character, his sister and his dad. The fight in the beginning between his dad and mom was freaking great. The Bus fight and Side of the building fight was.... Meh.. Good martial Arts for those that dont watch martial arts movies I guess.

The Final fight between Shang- Chi and his father saved the film for me. I liked the final Monster also.. Cool design. Dragon vs Monster was OK.. Reminded me of South Korean film called Dragon Wars. So it was nothing special.

I hated the humor in this film. None of it landed.

There were times I thought this would be my least fav Marvel film.. Other then the awful humor it was hard to tell it was a Marvel movie. Its like the Humor in this was a parody of other Marvel movie jokes.

1st time viewing only I would say I liked this more then my first viewings of Dr. Strange, Black Panther, IM3, Black Widow and Age of Ultron.

But My appreciation for Black Panther has gone up since first viewing so I would rank this film in the bottom section of the MCU for sure. But still way better then AOU, Thor 2, and Black Widow. I also probably like it more then Captain Marvel. I have only watched that once and didnt hate it but have never been tempted to watch that again.. I might give Shang- Chi another go.

I think AoU is severely underrated. Many people really hated the Hulk/Black Widow relationship and as a result (IMO) they threw out the baby with the bath water. It gave us Scarlet Witch, Vision, Hulk vs. Hulkbuster and planted the seeds for Tony & Steve's Civil War conflict (and it was written in a way that was more convincing than what was done in Civil War). It easily surpasses CW in my book, which if not for the introduction of BP and Spidey would not be rated very high.

I would put Shang-Chi somewhere in the middle on my MCU list. It definitely tops DS, BW, Thor, Thor 2, AM&W and IM2.

From a character standpoint I thought Thor was great, but there wasn't a great deal of action and they really skimped on the non-Asgard sets, especially that one-horse town in New Mexico. That place looked like they retrofitted it from a failed Western TV show lol...
