Always wanted to see a comparison shot of both, never seen both in-hand. Both Medi and Marmit were too expensive back then when I started on 1/6ers.
So I still love how my Hasbro one came out with a complete new body and a clone head sculpt (sorry for bad light, just a quick shot from my HTC):

Whoa! Might want to do something about that neck . . . . . . unless the Imperials added some Kaminoans to their ranks.

What body are you using? May be a shorter neck post is available for it.

:goodpost:I agree. I have my Medi TIE Pilot next to my SS Vader & Praji (I luv how he dwarfs them) and my Medi royal Guard behind my Emperor in his throne. I still think that my Medi Stormtrooper might still be my favorite regular Stormtrooper to be released so far, by any company. I know, let the debating commence:slap.:nana::lol

I sold my ss stormie an bought a second medicom one.

Medi Vader is slightly under 12" if I'm not mistaken. It most certainly is not in scale with Sideshow or HT figures. Or Medicom figures for that matter...

He`s about 12 1/4 ". Too short, certainly, but not as bad as a lot of people say.

Medicom vader is sadly not big enough. Sorry but it isn't.
It is beautiful and I loved the one I had.

True, underscale but for me a keeper with the two medi stormies with marmit helmets. The vader is an awesome figure, I threw in a couple spacers at the ankles to give him a bit more height and with the stand its good enough for me. I dont think I would let this set ever go since I stopped collecting 1/6, they just look too cool.

^ Awesome pic man!! :clap

WOW!! Those Stormies look excellent - the Marmit helmet with the Medi bodies is a masterstroke if I may say so! They look just like guys in suits now, shows how off those SSC ones are..

The Medi Vader looks really nice too! Thanks for the answer on the height guys, wasn't sure previously. Is that a ROTS version? I'm going by the shoulder armour it might be? :dunno

..& again, I'm not a fan of the SSC Vader either.

:duffThat's a great idea. Maybe I should sell my second SS :stormtroo that I never even opened after taking the first one out of the box and being disappointed, then maybe see if I can use that to get another Medicom one.

@Vintij
My Medicom Vader that has just been measured stands at 12.5 inches that is without any additions to the frame. Don't know why different sizes listed but they should be near enough that size. Because of the slimmer scale though making the Medi vader taller does not look right to me. (tried it) He looks fine in scale with the medi stormtroopers on either side. Total personal preference.

Medicom Tie Fighter pilot would be great to get one of them. For the prices the Marmit prices are way overpriced more so than medicom. Sideshow has the right prices usually.

Cool, thanks for the info Pilgrim_UK! :hi5:

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the Medicom stuff anyway, but that Vader looks quite good in context with those cleverly modded
Medi Stormies - I still can't believe how good they look!

Good eye, yes its the ROTS Vader.
Aha - there you go! :)

Of course mate, sorry if I came across as impatient. :1-1:

I just thought my post was getting buried.. :panic: :lol

Not to worry my friend :duff It seems the people here already gave the answer. Anyway IMO the Medis, especially if got at good prices, will look cool in a collection and will display well too
