Pipsqueak update: So we got the ultra sound and they couldn't find any shunts! The good news is that the vets were wrong but now we are back at square one and have no idea what the problem with her liver is. In the meantime we refunded everybody's money that donated (gotta keep the karma good) but a few of our friends have told us to keep the money since we still have to do a bunch of tests to find out what wrong (very kind of them).

So in closing our dog is not going to die in a few months now (glad that stress is out of our lives) and we will solder forward and find out what is wrong with her.

We had a beagle up until January of this year. They're good dogs. They don't have a very high rank on the intelligence scale and they are susceptible to hip displacia but good dogs nonetheless.
