This one was taken before she got sick, and more clearly shows her at her best.She was small only in size...vivacious,terrifyingly smart and self aware.She was the bane of all stuffies,and seemed convinced that it was her mission to destroy the squeakers in every toy she could get her mouth on(she was death to all toys, but squeakies were her favorite targets).She was deeply loved and will be deeply missed. So sorry for your Loss Wax. I am a big Boston Terrier lover and am saving to buy one. You did the right thing even though its hard. Treasure those great memories. She was a beautiful little doggie and I've gone back and looks at pictures of her and Becky several times. RIP Bailey.

If I may make a suggestion, check out the BT Rescue sites;there are plenty of good dogs that need homes to be found.Most are already trained, vetted, and,in many cases,chipped.The costs are generally reasonable(as compared to some breeders) and go towards maintaining the programs. My wife and I are already looking into a little guy to be Becky's new wingman.True, you don't get to pick your own name, but is that really such a bad thing?...PS

I agree. Wasn't sold on them before but the two we have are fantastic. They're two of the lovingest puppies we've ever had. The lady that breeds them does a great job of having quality puppies, and they're uber friendly.

He will bark at you when you first come in for about 4-5 mins (two house break ins kind of scared him) but once you are settled in he will love on you as long as you will let him. He also remembers people so if he has met you he thinks you are his best friend no matter how long its been since you seen him

I agree 100%. Mine will bark for a few mins but once you start loving them they will love you forever and they do a good job of remembering people.

It is my great pleasure to introduce our new boy...

We have named him Ben(the folks at the Silver Lake Rescue were calling him "Fenway",which wasn't working for us). He's @3-4 years old,in excellent health but for the blunted ear, and the happiest rescue our vets have ever seen.Pretty smart(in spite of a few house training issues) and a total sponge(which is precisely what my wife wanted).She believes he was meant for us;I am inclined to agree. Friendliest dog I've seen in years;Becky likes him very much, though at times she's a bit overwhelmed by him.Hell, even the cat seems to like him(well, he doesn't dis-like him).In any event,he's so outgoing that he's making the loss of Bailey a great deal easier than it might otherwise be..PS

Bantha passed away last night. Her 8th birthday was on Jan 11th. Ive been trying to brace myself for the last 6 months for this (Great Danes dont live long) as we could tell she was getting skinny and slower and restless. She at least was eating and drinking.

I always had to shovel part of the back yard for her when it snowed. She loved to run and play but didnt like it touching her when she went potty. We just got 3 inches of snow yesterday. I shoveled her area, and let her out. She walked around and ate some snow. She came back in and started to fall over, she tried to make it to her bedroom. She collapsed in the laundry room and passed away in my arms. Im glad I could be there with her, but it will haunt me forever.
