Hahaha! So now when you see no support from anyone whatsoever you choose to push your mini tirade and crusade on me?!!

So because it was a Bill sculpt, 'I HAVE to say a tribute to Rainman', or 'Rainman is the best, but here is something I saw'? Why not the same with Scott's BRawler? So guys beware, if you show a sculpt of a character who has been done before by multiple artists. Be sure to eulogise them all before posting its picture. Or else His lordship the righter of all moral wrongs for artists worldide Sir turbo.VS.ozone will deem and sentence your sculpt as a disrispectful copy.

Unbelievable, after all this nagging and moaning, reprimading from mods etc etc, this is now all my fault?!! :

I've been asked again to curb some of the rhetoric on this because it's a conversation that really isn't going anywhere other than to cause some very sensitive members to be upset. Some of the mods have expressed it was not what I said but the manner in how it was received when I said it. Maybe if I had expressed my initial comment on your interest thread with a more user friendly tone like "Wow, what an amazing sculpt, was it inspired a bit by Rainman's?", It would have been received better, but I'm guessing you still would have chosen to take it as sarcastic anyways when all it is, is just an honest critique about sculpt similarities. Pursuing the reasons why and providing facts wasn't the best choice either (like pouring salt on your wounds) but it was done only to support that my comment was coming from an honest place, nothing personal. If our opinions can't be shared with honesty without having to resort to personal off topic attacks then its probably a better call to just let it go. Axe, I stand by my opinion on that sculpt, I've provided my reasons why, and stated facts to support those reasons. If your willing to share some better insight about it, I'd be interested to read that. Just stick to the topic.

I'm in full support of all the efforts made by the many custom artists here on these boards especially when it involves characters that I really enjoy but I'm also very truthful about my collecting habits and I have preferences. I've owned both VM's Brawler and currently own Rainman's Butcher. Have had both in my collection at the same time and enjoyed them very much for what they are as Robbie articulated so accurately in his previous comment..Same subject matter but uniquely different in tone. That's what makes them special or from my perspective, Original. I feel like I've earned the right to make an honest and informed commentary about this, as far as I can tell you've never supported any of the previous artist rendered Bills, you don't even like this character and have stated your disinterest in it publicly and your entitled to your opinion on that. Please remove my name from your interest list if you haven't already done so, I'm more than satisfied with what I already have in my possession.

I really just wish you'd be honest and admit that it's possible your sculptor tried to copy Rainman's work, borrowed from his sculpt idea and design. At the very least ask him to share if he's seen it before and was inspired by it. Nothing wrong in admitting it Axe, it's a great replica. But if your going to continue to avoid the question, then it's best we leave it alone pal.

Sorry pal, I saw your previous post too before you changed it, so can the mods, so have probably some of the guys who visited this thread... You can keep trying to act cool and nonchalant but your charade fools no one. This thread is just being used by you as your vent vehicle. It doesnt fool anyone...

Anyone who goes through all that you have contributed in this thread has a great idea of what your intent is, the very fact you keep coming back to try being the one who has the last word actually shows what your actual mindset is. Everyone who has had the privilege of contributing while being a part of this thread while you used it as your personal vendetta mongering tool has said one single thing contrary to what you have said.

You can keep posting to show you got the last word, sprinkle some more smileys to pretend how you dont really care. But the only one here who has a massive itch is you. And thats evident from the last few pages - ever since your first post about both the sculpts.

No vendetta, no one's questioning your guys talent .......but just answer the question. Is it possible he copied or borrwed ideas from Rainmans sculpt. Yes or no?
