I had the venom bust for a short time and its size is very impressive so although hulk seems small i am confident the size will be a knock out.

Hulk has a kirby style which has been give a modern edge to it and it works for me.There's no chance anyone can mistake that this is Hulk.

My order is in and now the long wait:mad:

and that's against the DD rules, you have to explain the fails to become one of the elite or lesser community member.... TRUTH B TOLD!!!!

I can't even understand that, are you special needs?

This was already announce as a 100 ES.People bought out of hype.I'm talking about comic spidey, venom, Thing..none sold out in hours.

I'm not trying to convince anyone to buy this piece cause its a Hulk collectible. If it looked like crap to me, believe me I would have said so...

As a 12+ years collector in this hobby,I know when a piece is destined to greatness.Comic fans (who buys comics and statues will always prefer trhe classic interpretation of a character) and If Sideshow dont make a thousand of those and keep ES low, you'll see this piece in 2-3 years fetch for more than triple the price.

Atheris, just a question, What were your 1st impression when you first saw the sculpt of the PF Hulk?

I wasnt impressed with that piece ether, I liked the body they gave him and the huge defined muscles as well as the overall size and weight of the statue. But then they ruined it by giving him the head of a gorilla. Like I said I was never a fan of "hunchback" Hulk. I really wish SS would do a modern take on him. Personally, I think thats when they perfected a more realistic version of the Hulk. Its kind of hard to imagine the 60's Hulk 6+ feet tall (the size of an average bodybuilder) picking up and throwing a car 100 feet away. A Hulk the size of the one in the 2008 movie is more believable doing those sorts of things. Actually, when I saw the movie I was a little disappointed.....I thought he would be bigger :(.

I think the economy has something to do with it. It's the reason I haven't ordered it yet. I also think the $500 price it totally f'g ridiculous. This should not be $500 no matter what anyone says.

Also, there's a ton of 90's style Hulk merchandise out there. That's what's driven me crazy these last twenty years!

BB

The economy plays a VERY SMALL (I believe) role for the majority of people out there pre-ordering. Because when you REALLY REALLY want something you make sure you get it quick and ahead of time. Isnt that the whole purpose behind "Pre-ordering"?
Believe me their are people on here and out there where $500 is a deal! Hell..they probably have $4000 worth of other stuff on pre-order anyway. Whats another $500 on flex pay:rolleyes:
Or for the really devoted fans, will cancel other PO's just to make sure they are able to get the piece that they really want and that has blown them away. I dont see that happening with this bust at all. Thats because the first impression you get upon looking at this piece the first time or the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th time....is still the same.......crap. If you would like to test my theory hold this bust up infront of children (or child if you have one) and ask them what they think of it. They will always tell you the truth...

Crap?? I can never understand why people resort to that term to describe any sculpt. This is hardly crap. If it's not to your liking fair enough. Some people can appreciate the work and will buy this for their collection.

Sideshow released the great Hulk statue eva: The Premium Format.

And now, the greatest Hulk bust eva...:rock

yep, Only an idiot with absolutely no tact would call this bust ''crap'' when everybody here knows this bust has been sculpted by a member of this very forum who frequently post on this board.

I'm glad to say, your opinion is really in minority as the Hulk PF is considered the Greatest Hulk statue ever created in polystone by the majority of collectors..After market value dont lie.A thousand Green hulks made by Sideshow and they still sell for $900 on the bay.

If SS puts out another PF Hulk you watch how quickly those #'s fall...
