Crap?? I can never understand why people resort to that term to describe any sculpt. This is hardly crap. If it's not to your liking fair enough. Some people can appreciate the work and will buy this for their collection.

I totally agree, I saw the beauty of the sculpt in this from the get go and I knew it would look awesome with the other 1:1s.

In the end it doesn't matter. If it's a lower than expected ES people that don't like it as much will suddenly love it. It's the usual hypocrecy.

I would respect people that stick by their guns (even with less than proper terminology when commenting on a new piece) if they also voted with their dollars, pounds, euros, pesos or whatever. That's where your true character as a collector shows up: do you buy what you like or just follow the hype on the boards?

Hulk or not, this piece came up short. Some agree and some don't. Time will tell what happens once it's out and the reviews come in. I just feel that this release has been an anticlimatic return of the Marvel 1:1 bust line.

I buy what I like, I never follow the hype *cough*Patient Zero PF*cough*, often times all that leads to is mass cancellations and a piece ends up being worthless. Not that I care about edition size either, but I predict that this one will be ES of 300 or less and a whole lot of people are suddenly gonna love it.

I would hardly call this an "anti-climactic return of the Marvel 1:1 line", this bust is awesome.

I would imagine the point of posting his displeasure is in the sheer dissapointment of the thing, not to mention this IS the medium for posting just such opinions correct? By your logic, NO ONE should be allowed to post in the Iron Man bust threads, since many people didn't like them due to faulty design/manufacture defects.

The Hulk "purists" can love it all they want, (Great for them, I'm glad Sideshow could hook them up!) but I think it's become pretty obvious that the majority opinion on this thing is overwhelming dissapointment.

My guess is that Atheris was really looking forward to a great bust, and is pissed with the end result.

Believe me their are people on here and out there where $500 is a deal! Hell..they probably have $4000 worth of other stuff on pre-order anyway. Whats another $500 on flex pay
Or for the really devoted fans, will cancel other PO's just to make sure they are able to get the piece that they really want and that has blown them away. I dont see that happening with this bust at all. Thats because the first impression you get upon looking at this piece the first time or the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th time....is still the same.......crap. If you would like to test my theory hold this bust up infront of children (or child if you have one) and ask them what they think of it. They will always tell you the truth...

How does this bust seem in "scale" to some people???
People, when banner turns into Hulk hes like 4x the size of an average human. This bust is the size of MY head....how is that a 1:1 Hulk?
It seems like alot of people just like to buy all the crap SS puts out there....even when its literally crap. The facts are, this bust is ugly, its not to scale, its under weight, its over priced, its cheap quality and not accurate imo. The people that have managed to convince themselves they are buying a quality product are...."adicts"...and clearly have abandon all forms of lucid judgment.

The biggest issue I have with this bust is that SS has the balls to call it 1:1. I think the face is plain UGLY....the eyes are horrible! I hate the fact that their is barely any "bust" with this bust. Its mostly just a head...no shoulders no chest. I think the base is VERY underwhelming. Finally with a wight of only 15Lbs this thing is made of papermashe. I think the 2008 movie version is what should have been done. I'm just extremely disappointed with whatever this is.

I'd doubt that concept...lets face it. SS just cant make 1:1 busts anymore. The 1:1 Iron man was just embarrassing....the 1:1 BD Iron man was a joke....the 1:1 Godfather was HORRIBLE....the 1:1 T-700 is a cheap knock off of the T-800.....the T-600 is just blah.

The only SS line I collect at the moment I think is worth the money is Dinosauria. Everything else they've been putting out the last year+ is crap...and is made of crap. This 1:1 Hulk bust is following SS's new moto of " CRAP"

I don't even collect Marvel anymore so I rarely show any interest in this section but I have to say I am strangely being lured to order. It looks fantastic, a great sculpt with just the right amount of anger that Hulk should be showing!

I have never really got into the comics in any big way but I have to agree that I think SS made the right choice by making this Hulk design instead of the film version(s), which, was a little too human-like IMO (if you get what I mean?)

So, this bust is so good it is probably gonna pull me back into Marvel...again!
