If you didn't choose the pack-out option you take your chances, no?

Needless to say, I need to chill out on this issue.

I am really pissed off at Sideshow Toy. I miss Sideshow Collectibles. Used to be a great organization that took care of the collectors. Clearly no longer. I will shop accordingly

Lejuan: are you secretly Daniel, Sideshow returns department manager, cause you are doing a helluva impression?

It sucks getting a dinged up box. But through your disappointment you must know that it's not Sideshow at fault here. Whenever a box shows up on my doorstep from Sideshow that's not dinged up I'm actually surprised. One layer of cardboard is all that separates the art box from the pudgy, burger-stained fingers of several sets of handlers and whatever else is being shipped alongside of and on top of it.

I guess for the money they charge I would expect all packages to be double boxed, and without the $10 mark up....If it costs me $16 shipping ave + $10 for a mint box, then, its just too expensive to go thru Sideshowtoy

I've had Daniel Campisi go far out of his way to solve problems for me. :dunno

He's only quoted the corporate bottom line with me, and still waiting on a replacement part from him that he said was sent out a long ass time ago

If you're buying figures reasonably regularly and you don't need to flexpay stuff then BBTS is the way to go with their POL feature and excellent packing.

Hey, just because my fingers are pudgy doesn't mean... no wait... yep, thats burger sauce.

Carry on.

Never ordered from BBTS...will they replace broken parts if the figure is damaged?

They have EXCELLENT customer service. I bought a Tamashii 3PO from them that had a scratch on the head, so I sent just the head back to them and they sent me back a perfect one.

I got my 3PO last night and he is great. No issues except the thumb thing. The pistons were a little tight at first, but quickly loosened up. I need to get a stand for R2 to match the height difference with 3PO, but otherwise he is great. One small complaint, my magnetic droid restraining bolt (both of them) just barely stick and fall off if I move or rattle the figure at all. It sucks, but I will manage. The thumb thing is only noticeable to me if you plan to display the hands in certain ways, but I see the complaint as very valid.

I spoke to sideshow first thing yesterday, I was told that someone had my request for a replacement arm and would get back to me asap....
hopefully I hear something back today

Approaching almost two weeks without a peep from their CS dept. :impatient:
