I don't get it, looks like Morrison to me.

me too....well at least as much as the medicom sculpt

neither are spot on but even hot toys are always 100%
but looks pretty darn good though.

PS thanks for the crap exclusive sideshow- secondary retailer anyone?

If they didn't do stands though and used say the holo sidious in hand people would be pissed.

For further variety, we need some Droids.

I originally had droids in that post. I took it out because they'll be a much more extreme variety than any regular figure, no matter how far removed from the norm it is.

The Medicom sculpt looks a little more like him, but the fact that it also looks like a cartoon detracts heavily.

Awesome, can't wait to add this to my collection.

Love the idea of having him dispayed with his helmet on looking at the hologram and then having a spare head to swap onto another clone trooper. Good value !

I would post the pictures but for some reason it doesn't seem to be working for me.

I'd say the skin tone is mostly due to lighting just look at the difference in skintone between Yoda's photos on the site and what was at comic con. All in all he looks brilliant.

The Morrison sculpt reminds me a little of Oscar from "The Office."

Thanks for posting these, Trevor does such amazing work! after looking through the pre-production pics, the weathering on this looks amazing as well. All I can say is wow! SS seems to have hit a homerun with this one based on what I can see so far.

I know what I'll be doing for display of these guys as well now, most likely. Clone locker room, so to speak. Easy way to display all the helmets.

The stands are the WORST exclusive ever, but I love em too - always get items cheaper when I dont order from Sideshow directly. Keep up the good work!

I agree with those expecting more from the human sculpt. I guess for $125, my expectations raise beyond the normal trooper version. Who can tell whether a decent sculpt exists with the generic Hasbro like paint application? A single flat coat should do it

Otherwise, the armor looks solid but SS rehashed the crap outta the mold so it is expected. The v1 and v2 helmets are a nice touch along with Palpatine therefore, more good qualities than bad qualities equates to a purchase. I'll pose with v2 helmet so the Morrison sculpt isn't a deal breaker but disappointing nonetheless. Especially looking at the detail put into Palpatine paint apps with age spots, veins etc.

After staring at the pic with the Morrison portrait, no way that's production. You can see skin detail in the upper lip area and under the eyes - Need a better pic

IMO, they need to post actual production pieces showing FINAL paint work with all galleries.....personally, I would rather see EXACTLY what I am getting rather than being shown idealized pics of hand painted (and thus NOT representative) pictures.....from what I can tell in the picture, the sculpt is easily there.....

I share people's frustrations. Sideshow does great work in almost EVERY way, except human paint apps


Clarification: I say this regarding final paint apps, not the pics posted of the promo piece

Just for giggles went through some screen caps I was looking at for the sculpt against the painted and raw sculpts. Looks pretty good to me Trev did a nice job. That all being said I'm not sure I'll be displaying it since I want to display both helmets.
