After watching that review I can pretty much say he seems to be identical to the original. The eyes are painted maybe a little better (a darker glossy red around the pupils and the pupils a little more gold than yellow). So still not perfect. And as for the cape, the only difference with the pattern on the inner red is it is broken lines instead of solid lines. Not sure which is more accurate. My SS Premium Format Grievous statue has been packed away for quite some time now, so don't remember what that pattern looked like.. But no difference on how well the pattern is seen visually (darker/lighter/more pronounced). And of course from the video I can't tell if the actual material is any different.

Looked dang good in that review. Especially in the 4 arm, lightsaber pose. I knew full well he’d be a more fragile figure than normal given the design. I just don’t want to get a figure with loose joints and splitting pieces.

If you end up getting a good copy, I look forward to seeing what kind of stand you make for him!

I must give props to DHL, Sideshow sent the parcel on the 24th and parcel arrived at my post office yesterday on the 26th here in Sweden. That’s crazy fast delivery, meanwhile my EMS from Australia took three weeks.

Just looking at how Hot Toys built IG-11 or K-2SO gives you an idea of just how much better their Grievous would be. If you have never had one of those Hot Toys droids and are having a hard time imagining how to improve Grievous, do yourself a favor and track down IG-11 while he is still available around retail.

Sorry but it looks like an expensive Hasbro figure. Very tempted to cancel the pre-order, especially with having to get this guy shipped over to the UK making a return kind of tricky. The only problem is I used over $150 of reward points on this and I don't know whether they'd return those to my account. Does anyone have any experience with that?

As disappointing as this may be out of the box with the loose joints, they seem to be fixable due to how you plug them in. As someone who has to deal with loose joints with high end Masterpiece transformers that cost as much as this guy or even more sometimes, gotta say, these joints look easier to fix than a transformer. Doesn’t make it right we should have to do that by any means, but I think it’s an easy fix. I’m pretty sure this will be around for awhile given the current reviews, so gonna wait a little longer before I decide if I want to order one or not. I’ll see how my SS R2D2 comes out first I think
