Yeah, that fabric actually does have a bit of a chiffon look. It's those chiffon-like lines that throw it a bit.

I could have sworn I posted a link to someone's Jawa robe customs in this thread a while back, but on casual inspection can't find it. Anyway, if they got the robes looking right (MYC or something?) I don't know what besides cost could have resulted in the crinkly fabric SSC used.

R2 is also displayed on a stand at the show to get him up to 3PO's level. Interestingly, all the stands are displayed blank without any special toppers they might ship with.

I just don't think these guys are going to need stands. Very small figure and I plan to pose amongst a droid or two, which means the droid would need to be on a stand base to be the same height and that's just silly.

Yeah a small flat desert display would be sweet. But something like that can probably be made too.

Hmmm. Let me know when you're finished and I'll pay you $220 for just two of the family. Or screw it, don't go to so much trouble, just make them 1/6 to save time and I'll take two families for $500. I'm assuming it's 4 figures per family, but I'd be OK with 7 figures over all if one of those families has had only one offspring.
