Not saying I'd definitely buy, but I could be persuaded even if it was just to compare the two in-hand and sell off the loser.
Yeah, it would be a tough call for me. With rising costs and my purchases becoming much more selective Im not sure. Like if there were 3 or 4 great figures coming out around that time would I still pony up $220-250 or whatever for a new Threepio when I already have an amazing one. I'm curious to see what they come up with. To be honest ,a nice plastic Threepio has the the potential to be more fun[/l] than the Tama. I love the Tama. The look, heft, feel and overall engineering makes it a true marvel. But those are the very reasons I barely touch the damn thing. With a plastic Threepio I may be more inclined to pose , move , "play" with more.
