RAWR...
Hey, Shawn! Nice to see you here as well.
I know this for a fact as well. However, you can always pop in the dvd or look through the vast amounts of refernce material on the net and do your own research. In my mind there really is no excuse.
How true. Even on the Crystal Skull dvd Lucas said himself that you can put pics from all 4 films next to each other and cannot tell the difference between them. Is he on crack? Even my 7 year old can see there is a difference even though he can't put his finger on what it is. It's still evident. Sideshow did an amazing job on the shape of the hat on this one. It IS the Raiders hat...just the wrong color.
Let's keep this pic around for when we finally get a close-up pic of the prod Indy face.
Yeah, they can be quite picky. I've heard many a story about it from those who work for them. Although the difference in color from reality to screen is not too far off. Some of it is hard to understand though. The holster is just a flat brown in Raiders and doesn't fluctuate much at all from reality to screen as say, the shirt does. Same with the hat, but Sideshow (or LFL) decided somewhere to make them both very dark. Dunno why? Makes no sense.Frequently they will get NO reference material from Lucasfilm, will do up what they think would look right and then get notes from LFL telling them to change it. Or LFL will insist on something being the color it is in real life, rather than the color it looks like on the screen.

damn it. here we go.... this was a Photoshop paintjob. Take that for what it's worth while comparing it to the production head's paintjob.
Have I mentioned how kick ass this figure is and how great it will look on our shelfs?
Edit: I'm actually thinking of taking some extra money I just got for helping out on some computer work for a friend to buy a second Indy.
Attaboy, J1!
Shelves, not shelfs... hehe
on PJ
yeah, my brain has shut down today. I'm beat ass tired from not sleeping this weekend and having to deal with HS Girls tonight during basketball.
So, a bit late to the new pictures... but is the head cast in color, or fully painted? Some shots look cast, yet others don't.
But, overall a really great looking figure
I can't tell from the photos but is the indy neck joint more like BBI neck joint where theres two points of articulation, or is it more like Dragon neck joint where the head and neck is all one piece?
Forgot to mention something, if possible, better buy one in store cause I had to go through a few to get one with perfect paint job. Others can be a little inconsistent on the hair and especially the eyes.
Also, the hatless Indy head will make a good Deckard with a little hair resculpting.
Oh Good, thanks for the reassuring SSC paint apps consistency issue being resolved...
Are we back to playing SSC paint apps russian roulette again?
#!$%%^!@$! WHY, SIDESHOW!?!!?!! :emperor
