I've got a question for you guys who have this. It turns out I am getting one of these soon thanks to an incredibly generous new friend (you know who you are... so thank you!!) and I can't wait to fix it up. The neck on this, does the bottom part of the neck come away from the body the same way the Hot Toys one does, and can you use one of those adapters to attach Sideshow style heads with sculpted necks?

One of the things I'm toying with the idea of doing for myself is giving him a sculpted neck. I'd rather lose the extra posability, for the extra realism in how it looks (I'm doing the same with my Superman Returns figure). So can this Sideshow body have the neck piece taken off and does that adapter piece fit?

Awesome Darren! That is fantastic news! And yes the head and neck are pretty much exactly what HT has. It's basically like the Superman figure. The head pops off the neck and the neck pops off of the body the same.

And Carl... you can send the hats along with him too, I don't mind doing that at all.

What color of brown are you guys using for the hats? Can you paint the hats without having to remove the original paint on the sculpt?

IF I do something like that myself I'd hate for the new paint to feel "tacky" because it didn't dry properly...

Just got my Indy parts from Toy Anxiety shipped so they should be here next week. Plan to paste the Relic Hunter stuff on him but saw that like some HT figures the boots are his feet....anyone know if the standard HT TT Feet will fit in the pegs?

If you remove the SS pegs from the boots HT's ball joint pegs will fit just fine.

I sure did. Popped his boots in some hot water and the pegs pulled right out. The HT pegs pop right in nice and snug. Too bad SS didn't go the ball joint route like HT. You just can't beat that range of motion.

Awesome, kinda wish I hadn't wasted money on boots for my TT, if I use it, but at least now I have options.

I initially liked what I had on him but now that I was able to make SS's work I like it better. Definitely more screen accurate.

Have the head repainted and weathered the jacket although it's hard to tell in the photos...
