UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!

My 2c worth ...

When I first cracked him open I was gutted to be honest - floppy body, terrible stubble on the extra head, wasn't loving the shirt ... so I put him on a TrueType.

And I disliked him even more - the broad shoulders on the TrueType (at least, on the one I had to hand) made the sleeves on the jacket ride up, the shirt had started gaping exposing the bad seam work and the trousers didn't seem to hang right.

So he went back on the Pro ... and I started futzing ... tugged the trousers lower, weighted down the shoulder bag (thanks for the tip - and leapin' lizards, dude, the SCULPT!!! - Trevor!) and Indy started to emerge. It never ceases to amaze me how much of a 1/6 piece is in the sculpt ... how much is then down to the paint job ... but then, how much is down to the POSE you put him in. Once it's down to the pose, it's about where YOU find the character.

So here's where I found him - and very happy I am too! Both with flash and without ... hope you all enjoy.

Not a ton of time to mess with him here at the office, but so far, I'd say I've REALLY lucked out with this one. The stubble on the extra head is a bit thick and unsightly, but I'm not terribly concerned with the hatless head, thankfully, my hatted head stubble, while not fantastic, looks fine, subtle enough. More importantly, I seem to have gotten a very nice Pro. The neck is semi-flimsy but not to a point it doesn't hold position and the arms and legs are really nice.

Looking forward to shooting this guy tonight and really checking him out.

My only significant dissappointment so far is the production method of the head. The faces on both heads seem like they're painted, not cast material, which is really strange. Now I understand comments about it not seeming like the same HT quality as the Hobbits, Gandalf or Clonobi.

Looks like your Fed-Ex truck beat mine... Congrats-- Still waiting for delivery--usually within the next hour, of course I'm still at work so it'll be another two hours (minimum) before I see him... Oh well...

Glad you got a good one Sean! Looking forward to your images. :)

Based on how SS attempts at casting had come out I would have like to seen Indy done that way.

My only other nit is, something happened with casting or something, but the hole the dart's supposed to go into on the torch is filled in, ther i no hole, just a slid indentation, which somewhat negates having the 2 together.

Tried my best at replicating this scene today.

I didn't have the image in front of me for reference, though the spirit is still there:
