Sensational sir, as always. I'll see for myself later in the year...but you have it looking great.

I have to say, I really like the new space saving packaging, as long as it doesn't limit the number of accessory items. Anyone else?

Here's a good video from them too.

Wow, never realized how slimmer the ROTJ helmets were, looks like Medicom got their ROTJ helmets right.

Here's a couple of mine with a 2 min futz:

the chest is not a problem -

different angle direct sunlight (that's a quality ass gate I have there)

Overall, I am happy with him - body is loose on mine.the lower body armor is taped together and held in place with his belt. Kinda wish the lower chest armor and crotch piece were one piece as it is on the marmit and medicom. But this should allow greater posing - something I am sure SS wanted.

The velcro belt is awesome!!!!

I did a quick repaint on the left one. What do you think? I mixed dark green and metallic black on the lenses, but you can't see the green on camera.

The effect is really subtle. I can only see it with my own eyes. But that is the point, right? I sure as heck never knew the movie props were green until I read this message board. I still need to add more gloss.

The aerators, especially the center mouth piece looks much better. It looks 100% better painted all black. It looks sloppy to me with just the top surface painted the way SS left it. Your repaint is a definite improvement. The lenses don't really bother me. I'll be leaving those black. Now, I want to see some glossed up. I'm just scared to do anything to mine for fear that it will harm the plastic or yellow it. Can't wait to see what methods folks use to get the armor glossy.

I'll be using "Future" floor wax, airbrushed and it will not only provide a beautiful gloss but will protect it from "yellowing".

I woulnt recomend you adding anything to the plastic because you may cause it to yellow faster. If the plastic is a good one it wont go yellowish ever except if you have it in direct sunligth or clean it with harsh chemicals.

Use Gunze clearcoat gloss. It's imported from Japan and expensive (about $10+ for a small can) but used by professional modelers because it does not cause a chemical reaction with the acids in the plastics that cause yellowing. The guy at my hobby shop swears by it and has been a professional modeler for about 30 years.
