Was so disappointed I was too late in the game for the Maquette or SWS cinemaquette and since they now they go for astronomical amounts on eBay, this will make a satisfactory substitute at a price which is easier to swallow. Let's now hope the paint job stands up

at first glance, face and mandibles on this new statue really resemble the Maquette, but after further examination, they're slightly different:

Jedah Kalm you are the man! I am 100% sure I will get this, but on the downside it looks like I have to stay with the regular edition because probably I won't find it in the EU, also if there will be one it will be at insane price. It is sucks...why EU almost never get the exclusive stuffs? It is incredible hard to find them on Ebay. Buying from USA is dangerus because of SS's quality contor and not to mention the taxes etc. Oh my...american people you lucky *******s!

My main concern is SS's quality control! They are good I know and in the USA they pay for your shipping if the item will arrive damaged but in EU I have to pay for that too if I want a replacement. Anyway SS really kicked the regular collectors butt with this exclusive. At least they could have give the bloody spine with the regular edition too.

Fedex charged me 72 pounds in customs fees for the Predator LSB. That's around $120

How much did you get charged? If this isn't a mistake then it's no longer cheaper to order from SS direct.

That sounds a lot! You only pay fed-ex £10 handling and the rest should be 20% v.a.t. You are also charged v.a.t on the postage part of you order. Rip off Britain!

I had the lsb on pre-order with forbiddent planet @ £300 but cancelled. Decided it was too expensive and I didn't want to get into half scale busts. Looked really small on a video I seen. How did it turn out for you? What did it end up costing all in?

This is now £300 on play.com. £270 on forbidden planet and you'll only get the regular. All fees taken into account should still work out cheaper to order direct and get the much more desirable exclusive. Get it sooner than waiting for the uk suppliers aswell. Still got at least a six month wait :-(
