This is a rip off. No way this is only $99 less than then the much bigger Alien3 maquette. I still want it and will try and get it locally, hopefully with a good discount. It appears SS are putting up a secondary market price. This should not have been any more than $600.

I'm now seriously considering going the retailer route with this piece. $800 is a lot for what we have seen. On the small side, but it will definitely fit my collection space better than the much larger Alien3 maquette. I will have this one way or another. $800 from Sideshow, leads to $40 in rewards points, so any retailer would have to be better than double that, since there is also the peace of mind in ordering directly should any problems arise with the piece. Although, if PZ is any indication of replacement possibility, I might as well concede and plan on ordering from a retailer!

This will be mine!

It is a tad overpriced - I would have been a little more comfortable if it had been even 100 dollars less, 699.99 - still a lot but a little more justifiable.

Price + Pose + Size = PASS

Too much other cool stuff, and the Attackus maquette looks bigger, is better posed, and is almost 1/3 the price.

Its been a sTrAnGe SDCC for me. Turning down an Aliens piece and picking up a Disney piece!?

While the overall piece may look a lot like a blown up version of the small dio, the sheer visual power this thing has being larger scale is just amazing. That mouth, the sharpness of the teeth, damn that is on viscious looking creature, I love it.
