Shoot, I remember when you could buy Sideshow figures at Suncoast Video, LOL. I think that was my first exposure to Sideshow, I just thought that first Buffy and the Young Frankenstein figs were just so awesome. However Sideshow decides to do it, I'm just glad that they are making a Bith figure at all. It makes it seem all the more likely that they will keep making the awesome background characters that we all loved to see on screen, even if it was only for a few seconds, LOL.

The photo gallery is up.

Seems like the band members are coming out one at a time, which makes it more affordable.

My question is how many instruments does Figrin D’an come with? Two are easily visible in the gallery.

Not feeling it for $100... pretty basic, and I mean basic figure (2 pieces of clothing, 2 hands, one accessory, etc.) for that kind of scratch. Not to mention the reuse to make 5 or 6 or whatever will be pretty ridiculous.

At the very least Sideshow should give sculpted forearms since the current wrist transition looks pretty bad.

Price seems too steep for me considering how many they will be selling in all 5 exactly same figures. I suppose I could get Figrin and pose him up front and then use Hasbro's other 4 in the back in a low light scene :lol

$100.00 is a bit much for how little you get . If I get it, this will be the only one and I may see what authorized dealers are also charging for it.

It'll be $90 from dealer, personally still a bit on the high side for me. $75 is about the most I'd want to spend on one. Guess I'll see how many get released and then see if I can pick one or two up on the cheap a bit down the line.

Definitely happy to see some OT figures, but this set has the potential for overkill :lol

Well, it says items sold separately, does that mean the figure, or just the instruments?...
Weird... I was expecting at least 2-packs...
I might get at least 4 of them but from SS distributors, most likely @ $89.99 a piece plus shipping... we'll see...

Yeah, $99.99 is definitely pricey when you compare it to the clones at 89.99. That big-headed bastard better actually play the cantina song is all I know...

They have this pic in here as Figrin D'an, but it's actually Ickabel G'ont with his Fanfar. Could also be Tedn Dahai who also plays the Fanfar. I don't know which. They all look alike to me.

These are cool, and I'd like to have them, but I really don't want to waste a good Thursday SW preview on one of these nut heads every couple of weeks. Just give me the five pack and call it a day.

Maybe they packed an extra Fanfar in with him so we can just buy two of him and then the rumored 4 pack with the other instruments to have a complete band.

Don't like the hands or the $99.99 pricetag on these. They just aren't worth it.
Also new stands? o_O They don't seem to have the usual bit, or a place for it.

That actually kinda makes sense, but if that's the case, you'd actually need four of him so you get two Kloo Horn players and two Fanfar players, and then the rest would be a three pack. There's really only five different instruments.

This is getting confusing.

Maybe they will offer a good discount for the rest of the band for those who buy figrin d'an first? What dou you think? Is that possible?

I dont really know if there was two Kloo Horn players shown on screen. I thought the one guy was just kind of sitting at the table. So if they release a four pack with all of the insturments except the Kloo Horn you could buy one extra Figrin Dan and have the 6 band members that Hasbro released back in the day. Whether or not that is the correct number is up for debate. From what I understand these are the members shown playing during the cantina scene:
Figrin D'an - Kloo Horn
Doikk Na'ts - Doremian Beshniquel (or Fizz)
Nalan Cheel - Bandfill
Tedn Dahai - Fanfar
Ickabel G'ont - Fanfar
Tech Mo'r - Ommni Box

The backup player who was supposedly not playing was
Lirin Car'n - Kloo Horn (Backup)
