I was selling my hasbro set for $100 shipped. I'm thinking of keeping them and calling it a day.

At $100 bucks per figure, I actually laughed out loud. And the hand/wrist looks awful.

Sideshow, time to relocate the factory to a 3rd world country where labor is significantly cheaper. This is getting ridiculous.

Yup. Don't really understand what was wrong with the wrists Greedo had (and that would be the Greedo who was significantly more complex and still $10 cheaper). Hammerhead had better wrists too.

I'm pretty disappointed too. I never owned the Hasbro ones, but this would have been worth it if they'd been affordable.

Oh well. Not a big draw for me anyway. Rather save the space for something I really like.

Even at retail this guy will still be $85-90. GoHastings special at $49 then I'd buy one. Just one.

Only way this guy will make it on my shelf is IF I can get him for around $50. Otherwise, might as well buy the Hasbro. They don't look that different really.

Yeah I have to admit the price is rediculous. A bare bones figure with a stand an 1 accessory. That shouldn't even be close to $100. $70 would be fair by today's standards. But This really ought to be a $50-60 figure, especially since the rest are going to be exactly same same except for the instrument and the chair with the 1 guy.

Yeah, I really was expecting to see it for $69.99 or $74.99 at the most being that it just doesn't have that much to go along with it.

The biggest problem I see with the hands is that they look like they are attached to a regular human arm instead of a Bith arm.

I'm sure I'll get one but I'm not nearly as excited about it as I was prior to the price being announced.

I hate to say it, but I really do feel like Sideshow is ripping us off with this. A head and hands sculpt and five instruments are the only new thing in these figures, so very little R&D. And unless the ES for each one is really low the sheer number of figures being produced should drop the price some.

Wow, I gotta agree with everyone else. !00 bucks is RIDICULOUS!!! I woulda bought one for 60, even 70 bucks( as I am somewhat the completist) but as I already have a Hasbro one that was reworked and painted by an awesome customizer this is, and I cannot believe I am saying this, "easy pass"...

I'm not sure that the wrist setup is final. I painted sculpted Bith forearms for these which aren't even on the prototypes, so I'm guessing this isn't the final wrist joint.

It just doesn't bode well for the future of the line if these guys are $99. I thought the Emperor at $89 was an aberration. If we've jumped up $10 in price just in 6 months. . . man, that's gonna sting when ESB Vader is $199.

I agree, I thought the Emperor was too pricey, although the Ex made it more worthwile.

Not a good sign if these are going to cost $99. I'm passing on these anyway as I'm not interested but they are asking too much.

That actually kinda makes sense, but if that's the case, you'd actually need four of him so you get two Kloo Horn players and two Fanfar players, and then the rest would be a three pack. There's really only five different instruments.

Other than the price, the only problem is the wrist joint and the guy who painted it just said that he did forearms for them.
