With a lightsaber.

Not quite a lightsaber, but I don't think they can dispute it. I took a hammer to it, then my brother squashed it with clamps and ground his face off.

Finally took some shots of mine yesterday.
I'm using a custom body (mix between TT slim and TT advanced, with some sanding and padding), different neck (the original was too short for this body), and faux leather glove sleeves (will probably make some new ones soon). The rest is stock V2 from toyanxiety.

So what's the best way to destroy a head sculpt? I got my replacement head today and I need to kill the old one.

I hate this destroy policy so much. Such a waste. Genuinely makes me feel sick :lol Terrible idiotic sideshow

Beautiful pictures, agonistes

It really is a weird policy. Especially in cases where there are some good pieces that could be used for something but there are defects causing the figure to be less than perfect. I guess maybe a head sculpt is a bit different but overall I've always felt like the destroy faulty merchandise policy is an odd one.

It helps to discourage people from asking for replacements so that they can have an extra part to use or sell at Sideshow's expense.

Even so though wouldn't it make more sense to ship a replacement with a return label and they could salvage what they can for something else (be it another figure with an issue or whatever)? It's a waste of resources to just wreck something all together.

I understand the logistics of not wanting or needing the part back, as they'd have to bin it themselves, but it's also heartbreaking that a perfectly good Maul head was destroyed. I don't know how much SS would have charged for the replacement, but i would have paid that for the one with the bent horns, lol.

Here's a shot for size next to my 1/7 custom Starkiller.

You can see the FO Trooper and Battledroid either side as a good comparison as well.

Height looks right to me for 1/6 scale, Maul should be a touch shorter than most of the other figures on the shelf.
