Why is the $250 so hard to grasp? A light up base, 12 hands, sculpt of Anikin and the base for the helmet + light up on his chest. I think $230 would have been perfect but seeing $250 isn't extremely surprising for this figure.

It looks like they're really raising because they know we will buy it seeing as how the majority eat away at $310 HT figures.

Looking forward to this figure regardless.

Probably because the quality of HT's stuff is far superior to SS. This Vader doesn't look that much different than their original, except that it comes with a lot more stuff.

not sure if I should get this one or the Vader Hot toys will definitely release in the future..

Cape appears to be made of a different material than the ANH version. It also doesn't appear to flare out like the ANH version.

But we probably won't be getting another Vader for about 5 years, give and take. They know that as well as we do. Not to mention when HT does their version down the road, it'll be in the $350 price range.

With the quality that HT releases, I would probably pay up to $500 for their Vader. It would look pretty awesome I'm sure.

$250 bucks. Jeez that's steep.

Want two really so Ican have one with the mask off but don't know If I justify it at that price. Same for the exclusive- if I can snag a better price over here I will - I. Won't ever use the severed hand but it would've nice to have it.

Still no word either way But that background. Cos that I want.

Vader will be more than that. The way HT has been pricing things, along with how far down the road the figure is, could easily be $400 or more.

So it's overpriced by the cost of two Hasbro figures. I wanted to get this Vader, Hasbro Sio Bibble and Rats Tyrell. Looks like I can only afford Vader now. Shoot.

Funniest thing I've read all day. Sideshow controls all Star Wars sub-licensing to Hot Toys. You may see another Sideshow Vader before Hot Toys even releases another SW figure at all. ;)
