You just made my point more so, like i said the medicom version is newer if SS did a new version it would be way better.
The medicom version does have a nice robe though.

Your point was SS is superior which is not true or atleast subjective. Also if ss would do a new version and would be superior we would buy it ( this is an extrapolation and has no factual support but if and when it happes i will buy it) Its not ss vs medicom. Its ss maul vs medicom maul and pretty much most people who have both in hand say medicom has a better overall look. again if ss outperforms medicom later i will buy it but for now... The answer to me atleast is clear especially for people who have no darth maul and want to buy just one.

I'm sure once Ep VII comes out that HT will be pumping out the Star Wars figures... at least I hope they do. But I'd still prefer them to concentrate on the non-armored characters and leave guys like Vader to SS.

Nobody. all the ones that exist are custom ones. and as good as cathode saers look.. they have a limitation that keeps sideshow and others away from them.

Cathode sabers REQUIRE a large voltage.

As has already been pointed out by other posters, youre "need for quality" seems to fall away when you talk about medis. Sounds like talk from both sides of your mouth when it comes to SSC.

Lucasfilm is still it's own company under the disney umbrella. It's still going to have its own liscensing department, as it's a complicated massive property.

the BEST ones were made by a guy who posted here under the name Hurricane. He has more or less retired from taking comissions. however, if you ask around in the customs section of the board, i'm Certian you will find someone who makes them still.

I know you mean that to be funny..... But you know... Micro LED's... a colored tube..and some diffusement paper... that MIGHT actualy work and look pretty cool.

Pls dont tell me where i need to go and post what. Try and be mature and respect others views even if they dont align with yours. I am merely saying which one is better of the two and have indcated that in 5 different posts as being subjective, am not saying that medicom maul was outstanding and could not be better - it can be far far better than what it is. also my need for quality is related to the dollars i spend on something in the current point in time ( and both ar e ranging at almost similar cost ebay etc) if i can get the ss one today at its launch price my views wld be completely different. I never said ss sucks. Pls read the posts and tell me where i said so. I even said its not ss vs medicom. In fact 90 pct of my figures are ss and hot toys and thats why i am here.

Smart that you are ... The question is that if the opera sucked... Would you still go around toun saying it was the best ever just cause you shelled at seasoned tickets?? Or would you lay your views down and let others lay their views too. Or may be you would just stand outside every other opera and keep yelling how nothing else can be better?

Once again... I am here to say my views and you yours. Lets keep it to that and proceed in a consutructive way rather than drawing out anologies you yourself know make no sense.

Looked like one to me too, but I don't think they have commented either way... Perhaps it was just a one off specifically for that picture like they seem to have made for the clone packs.
