Awesome! I wish I had a custome like that.

Everyone calm... calm... serenity now... serenity now.

No one enjoys a husky Vader joke more than me...

"When Vader sits around the Death Star he sits AROUND the Death Star."

"That's no moon. It's Vader."

"Use the force? More like use his gravitational pull."

"Uhm, we're going to need a second tie fighter."

:thud: Now that that's out of my system, where were we? Ah yes. Remember everyone, it's an early prototype and with most early prototypes we have people jump to massive hyberpole in dissecting what's before us. Agree to disagree but please do it maturely.

Thanks. Oh, and awesome Vader Shalamar. :eek :vader :clap

but damnit, vader NEEDS his baggy suit. he needs to be more articulate as an action figure, than he needs to be as a character ( this part is serious).
He also needs to have room to get fatter in that suitas he gets older. He's a 60+ year old man. it's ok if he just lets himself go.

My personal view... They are worth buying but plan and buy, i bought about 25 in last 4 months. I am kinda broke but mow i do only preorders as i have what i wanted except one or two. Darth maul is amazing, so is this vader except that i hate the pants. But i still bought it as this will come in jan 2014. I am a big terminator and batman fan as well so have loadz of them... Its a great hobby so long u can plan and pay... They are expensive though!

the SS darth Maul right? because I think there is also a medicom version.

I like the medicom version... The new one. Bought at bbts. The sideshow has a sharper saber but thats about it..l everything else is better in medicom....

So true... I saw pictures of many collectors and all they do is a half a inch here or half a inch there when it comes to posing. Yes some go very aggressive. However i dont envision anyone doing a 180 split on a vader so for this articulation is not imp... For darth maul definitely, vader not needed. So no clue why he needs pants in which he can fly like a weather baloon...

:lecture medicom version has that giraffe neck, skiny head, plastic belt instead of leather.
Even though the SS version is outdated is still superior to medicom's. SS version ftw:hi5:

Just do a youtube and see reviews, i agree that the belt is better in sideshow however the head sculpt is way way better in medicom. Aso the outfit fits better and color on the sculpt is also more acurate and richer in medicom. I would any day take a better headsculpt over a belt...
Lastly see michael crawfords review on headsculpt ... He says its a toss but clearly says medicom margins it better... To me headsculpt is the most imp everything else comes after that....

This will give you an idea... Both are side by side also see comments below on you tube... I never bought any and chose my decision based on a lot of research and finally settled for medicom. I do like the sabre in sideshow ... Its sleek and sharp... But like i said headsculpt is where most of the money is spent by artists and i would not want to compromise on it. Medicome headsculpt is with great color and fierce eyes.

Um... you're missing my comment i think. als, Vader posed in action poses is incredably badass.

Does he NEED to be able to do it? No, but it's AWESOME that he can.

since you're a stickler for accuracy.. i'm kinda suprised you like medi maul's costume. becuase it's WAY to tight. the on-screen costume was immensely versized on the actor, much in the same way Hakama pants are on samurai. It's huge and flowing. also, the sideshow costume is more accurate to the screen used.
BEST figure, is medicom body and head, and boots, with sideshow clothing, belt and sabers.

I'm fairly certian we're getting 10 sets of hands, in gesture poses.

ESP considering that these are sculpted in mudbox, or zbrush now, and it's just a simple matter of hitting the "mirror" button to flip it the other way.
