It's simply a width/girth thing. I'm sure there are some girls here that can explain this thoroughly.

Honestly guys, its a matter of simply looking at the figure then compare it to the actual costume. its closer, but the dome doesn't seem quite right....I mean, anything is better than the dome fail in their ANH Vader, but its sad when Hasbro can nail it closer than SSC

Did SS not do the same HS on the Statue? Easy cut/paste show me the money I guess!

Not bad. Still not quite as good as the Marmit, as those had THE LOOK, but Sideshow are getting closer.

I didn't want one before watching the vid either. I was more than happy with my ANH version. Now just about everything that never bothered me about it at all before bothers me now... the dome, the height, the poseability. I gotta choose between the probe droid and this, and 'til yesterday it was easily the probe droid.

Naaaa... I doubt that. Even the exclusive wont sell out leave alone the regular one. Worst case you will go on wait-list (far stretch) even then it will be a convert when the actual release happens.

I was pretty determined to have in-hand pics before I ordered Vader, but the video won me over. Supposing both Grievous and Vader are released on time, they'll be arriving the same day (unlikely, but I can hope). Looks like Sideshow really came through for this one.

If I had to choose between the two, I'd definitely go with Vader over the probe droid.
