You think it's too early to get a custom cape fort his guy already? LForigno still the guy to talk to or is there another alternative?

Lforigno does great stuff but I personally had easier, smoother transactions with Tony. I could've sworn there was another, more recent thread then this; either way he does great work

It's probably too early to go hunting for a custom cape now because I'm not sure we know exactly what SS is giving us yet. I can't tell if it's the same material and just a bad pic, but the set looks better in the video than it does in that pic. I guess either way a custom set would be an improvement

How many of you guys honestly thought the stock frabic would look good enough? :lol

Custom will always be the way to go with these fabrics. Can't ever see them trying to produce these figures with a proper looking cape/robe.

:exactly:

What do you guys think of the "deluxe" box? Different from every other SS Star Wars 1:6.

I think it looks great. I just hope it's a fold out magnet with a window and not a HT DX type shoebox.

...one complaint. That lightsaber looks a little too fat.

Go ack to the old blades please sideshow. Those fat ones warp really bad.

Surprised at the negative reaction to the robes. Honestly, even unfutzed, the potential is obviously there. I still may go with the inevitable Tony Meis custom cape and robes, but it depends on if he's able to blow away a properly futzed stock or not. At the moment, this is the best Vader 1:6 I've seen (including any customs), so some unfutzed robes aren't going to ruin it for me.

:goodpost: :hi5:

I'm happy with the way he looks and it will be a sweet day when he arrives.
