Hey, I think I make a fair point... the body is clearly a variation of a body developed with HT, therefore a smidge of HT even if it was just an early design.
Sideshow Collectibles: To clarify...yes, HT had some involvement in the development of the original ANH Vader, but not for the new Vader. The new Darth Vader is a different body.
Vindication
Interesting they now have a new body for Vader? Wonder what is different aside from height?
Vindication? ANH Vader had minimal HT input and the ESB/RotJ Vader had....
N O N E
As I said.
But you were correct about that strand of hair you wanted to split. Good job.
You mean the ABSENCE of any HT logo ANYWHERE on the pics that have been posted OVER AND OVER mean that HT has NOTHING to do with this release?
My mind is blown. AGAIN!!!!
The Vader body was not developed by HT and I doubt that Vader will use a clone body so......
Nope. Vader was 100% in house. Not sure why the 1,000 clone variations stopped carrying the HT logo, but I am pretty sure Vader is one figure that HT would make sure they get credit for...
Or I'm just a big bad troll.
The problem with the comment that HT wasn't involved with the ANH Vader body is, it's true and it's false. HT was involved with the armor body, true, but, the mods to it were all Sideshow's doing, so HT wasn't involved in that specific body, despite their involvement with the foundation body for it, so you can say that it's a false argument that HT was involved in the Vader body.
HT helped Sideshow get the ball rolling in designing the Hobbit, Pro and Armor bodies, Sideshow handled future enhancements and modifications of them on their own.
