I don't appreciate your snide comments to the fact that you are some sort of superior star wars expert either. You know nothing about me or my knowledge on this subject.

I know that while I was reading your comment and then writing mine, I was looking at SW:ANH and ESB in HD on the same display showing scenes where the characters are actually on the same plane and therefore relevant, unlike the example image posted where the apparent height difference is strictly based on perspective.

If this were the "How tall is Vader?" thread, I'd litter it with a dozen or more clear images showing precisely how tall the character is in each movie next to other characters with well established heights. But in this thread, that's kind of pointless because everyone knows (or should know) how tall Vader is. Pick between 202 and 205 cm.

There is a thread?

If not, create it pixel and litter it with abandon!

:)

I'm intrigued to hear this because I thought this figure was smaller than the ANH and we already know that the ANH suit fits superbly on the KP02 body so why is the ESB suit too baggy on the KP02? Are you saying that with the exception of the forearms, this ESB body is larger than the ANH? I'm confused. LOL.

After looking at all these in hand pics, I still think the ANH suit looks much more accurate. This ESB version looks like it's just been pressed and it doesn't have the "bunching up" all along the seams like the real leather suit had.

Hey Chris, its the torso that is thicker on the new Vader compared to ANH. The suit for the new Vader has a bigger mid section that the KP02 body doesn't quite fill out. What seems to add to the odd look is this new suit doesn't "bunch" like the ANH suit, it "rolls". I admit I didn't spend a lot of time with it, proper futzing could possibly correct the issues I saw.

My impression was the opposite. Rather than grinding down the nub in the dome (as in the ANH mod) you have to grind down the top of the mask with this one.

Correct. Its more a mask mod than helmet mod.

And thanks for the comments on the pics everyone. Its much appreciated.

Is the dome easy to remove without damaging it? How is this done? Is the glue they use not very strong?

I seem to remember someone saying they trid to thicken the arms up with something. Was the outcome?

I used gardeners tape on the forearms. Made a big difference.

Use a mild but of force and the dome pops right off, no damage done.
