That's my picture. That scene doesn't actually exist in the movie, it's a composite with a lot of Photoshop work. Better is to link someone to my backgrounds thread where it's featured with a link to a full resolution version on Flickr: My Display/Diorama Backgrounds - follow the instructions in the thread to get the full resolution for printing.

There are also images appropriate for Vader in that thread. I'm offering prints (of most) for sale if anyone is interested. That little copy on Tapatalk is not suitable to print.

oh, sorry. you r right. Do you have a price list for hq prints?

You can contact me by private message here in the forum and we can discuss what you're looking for - I'm providing printing and sizing appropriate to your display space/shelf.

Cool. Where can I find a link to that fix or how many pages should I go back?

There was a picture posted showing aproximately how much of the top that needed to be shaved off, but the picture is gone unfortunately. I will try to dig it up somewhere and post it for you.

Here is a bad copy of the picture that was posted by King Darkness. I found it with google image search. The original picture is gone but you get the idea.

Kinda late to the party guys but I just got this Vader as a result from a trade, and I'm not the Vader expert (I'm more of a Fettspert) but this figure almost immediately became one of my favorites. I have no intentions to mod him, but I might get a custom saber for him

Looks like the Fett is giving his "oh no you didn't" stance :p

Great pics though and your collection looks quite impressive.

Thanks :) I used to have Wolffe, gree, and the shadow trooper but I sold the shadow trooper and traded Wolffe and gree for Vader, I hope to have a lot more next year but vader was just too amazing to pass up

I'm not going to say anything about the left hand. I'm not going to say anything about the left hand… ;)

Glad you like the sabers - can't wait to see everything set up with the light-up bases and Vader's belt/chest too.

looks nice .. maybe i should get it too ;D .. but i dont want to destroy my original sabers .. and a new one isnt cheap.

but urs really nice, congrats ... do u display them together?

On Vader (but not necessarily on all other sabers), the CCFL can be removed and the original plastic blade can be re-affixed (with a little bit of work). The only sign that anything is different is a tiny little hole on the middle side of the hilt - which can be filled in. Most people consider it an upgrade, not destruction. ;)

grr .. pixelpiper .. u know u r right :D .. i will contact u for an offer later .. first i must drivr to mcdonalds :D

edit: i see the prices in ur thread .. will study it ;D

Yeah, I tried the right-hand, but I really loved the position I had him in. Now it's like the cinemaquette. That's why it took me most of the afternoon to do both Luke and Vader. I got my left hand from the box and copied what you did on the right-hand. The right-hand is of course on its way to you along with the two sabers.

Saw this fig in-hand a few weeks ago and have never been so blown away by a figure with a sculpt that looks wonky. You focus on the helmet and it looks like the Vader from that very first Star Wars novel cover (dome too small, triangle mouth too wide,) but overall the figure exudes quality and really works.

I guess HT will do Vader as a first order of business, but for now I can see how this SSC fig could hold its own as a centerpiece for an Imperial display (even if he is a inch too tall compared to everyone else.)
