I received my kit for Darth Vader's belt and Chestbox today from pixelpiper. I couldn't be happier witht the result. It's nice to not have to worry about the batteries dying!

Thanks pp!

Yep, large accessories give so much depth to our displays. Knowing HT we'll get some interesting ones to enhance our figures. A Vader transformation pack would indeed be exceptional.

I really love this Vader. And one thing about the size being too big...
Well wouldn't you be lenient in letting Vader be a bit bigger. I mean I always saw him as such a huge, ominous presence. I mean I guess it depends on who you pose him with. But I'd guess most pose him with either Luke or troopers, and he always stood over them. I just find it gives the best movie villain his just deserves.

As Ive said many times, I believe that HT should do a 1/4 ESB/ROTJ Vader.
I just think the ESB/ROTJ Vader is THE Vader. And a 1/4 scale of him would sell like mad cakes and would be so profitable. Kick off this SW/HT relationship with a bang.
Love for it to include....
Face sculpt of Anakin removable to include both old and young
Severed hand
Two lightsaber hilts (one without red saber, one with)
Light up features
Only sound effect needed....Vader breathing.
Stand of cloud city (last standoff with Luke in ESB)

It would make for an awesome collectible. And I say the same thing for Fett....do a ESB/ROTJ Fett as well.

I don't collect 1/4, but I'd love to see a fully articulated Vader (or other iconic SW character) in that scale - especially in a photo series posed next to their 1/6 counterpart.

Can't see myself going deep on a 1/4 line, but Vader and a couple others would be hard to ever pass on. Probably sell off what few statues I have and I'd have my collection back to fully posable, except for 2 pieces. :yess:

Sound effects? No. How old are you? Some of you people seem determined to make collectors of figures look like weirdos.

Hahaha. No way!!! It would be awesome to have his breathing.
That alone wouldn't make someone a weirdo, at least not in my books.
Though I guess it is subjective...but where I'm from people are generally accepting of such things ;)

On to the real matter, Vader 1/4 scale!!!

It's a hell of a thing to realize that you're on the level of crazy directly adjacent to the 40-60 year old women who have dedicated rooms for their barbie collection. With one exception, the combined cost of the barbies ís less than a tenth of our dolls and they are probably worth ten times as much. :banghead

It's a fine line between crazy and sanity - it's all about attitude. ;)
