Yeah, weak title. Not as weird or cheesy as TPM or AOTC, but definitely weak.
After a year of stalling, the X'mas spirit has got my hands itching to pull the trigger. Received this figure today and took no time to get snapping. It's a very photogenic figure. Don't know where I'm going to put him, because he's just massive. Here's a couple of shots, more on the blog!

Woah. Looks awesome, yet also like Vader is begging for change. I gotta get a saber from Pixel. Looks so bad ***.

This photoshopped? The tip on the cathode sabers dont look like that.
Maybe its LED. That pic was taken in a very dark space, that's why the saber's so bright.
Didn't medicom make an LED one? I was thinking photoshop. Sweet photo either way.
The cathode tips dont look that perfect. I have one and there is always like a sort of unlit nub at the end.

Looks like a composited effect to me. Trenken is correct, CCFL is a fluorescent lamp and at either end there's a small electrode embedded in a solid nub of glass - only the phosphor-filled hollow section of the lamp produces light. The tip gets some light bleed which helps, but it's not as bright as the rest of the tube.

Easy mod. Heat the right handed saber holding hand and cool it into place. Might take several attempts.
Looking good, but fix grandpa's pants.

His groin part sits a bit high.
Oddly it doesn't affect his voice.
