I have been lurking on the forum for a few weeks now and I am fairly new to high-end collecting. Got this guy earlier today and thought I would share!! He is great!

"General Solo report to Endor."

Anyone got a spare Medicom trench coat? ;)

I'm just finishing my Han Bespin now and it's so cool to have as a bonus. The ROTJ look also occurred to me - I've got the Hasbro trenchcoat (which has slightly short sleeves) so I should try it.

All I have is the hasbro black vest which is actually pretty decent but I have seen some black dye marks from it on the white hasbro shirt so I'm not sure I want to put it on the great new SSC Hoth white shirt.

A slight word of warning to people removing the zipper from the Han Bespin coat - it was a little trickier than I thought to not clip any blue fabric or threads. I managed to do it, but it was tense for a while there. Maybe it was just the way mine was sewn, but the zipper was pretty close to the blue jacket edge.

Yeah I found that a lot trickier than people said as well. Ultimately it came out ok, but I did have a few moments where I thought I might have knicked the edge of the jacket.

Just finished my Han Besp from the Han Hoth extra head. Mostly parts bin (Hasbro pants which need some water treatment...) plus the new head/jacket/shirt.

Nice to have "free" bonus figures.

My camera is not doing well, so pics aren't great.

I forgot to do the slight tilt of the head for these pics, but the Han head actually has a little "Solo" personality when posed right.

Looks good. Nice job.

In case anyone still looking for spare parts. Toy anxiety broke down another Han and Luke. Jackets gome already but shirt, holster and other parts still available as i type.

Received mine this past week and I love it as much as I had originally defended it. In fact, I think it's better than what I was expecting. It's one of Sideshow's best figures and I'd put it up against most Hot Toys.

I'm completely happy with how he basically came out of the box. I've used minimal futzing and I haven't even felt the need to check out which body he's on because next to my Luke, the height works as he's still taller. I doubt I'll try to body swap the too even if he's on the 1.0 and Luke is on the 1.1 or 1.2. He's still taller than my Luke so it works for me. For now at least. Maybe I'll get the itch in the future.

A couple pics of my set up:

Here's a shot where he is now after I'd retied both his inner and outer scarfs to make them look more screen accurate, but I've even since futzed the hood hair better to get it to a point where I'm very happy with it.

edit: Here

Glad everyone is very satisfied with this figure though. It's a nice feeling to see people happy around here :)

For me, the body swap helped Luke's vest from looking like it was gonna burst apart. It does leave Luke's shoulders and arms a little baggier, but the swap improves both figures in the end. The height difference is minimal but it does make Han slightly taller (from brim to brim).
Just got my brown coat version for the coat and stand--will probably throw snow trooper on there and then part out the rest.
Does anyone have a sense which parts might deteriorate over time? I was thinking of keeping the extra gauntlets since they're stretched so much with the coat underneath.

I think you will find the #newcodeofconduct has a lot to do with that. :lol

The code of conduct doesn't mention anything about restricting the ability to express one's opinions and/or reviews of products, and I'm confident that's not what Dave had in mind when writing it. Most people seem to do just fine on either side of the fence for this or any other product without crossing into territory that is in fact covered by the code of conduct, namely the treatment and harassment of other members.
