Trevor Grove did the resculpt for the head and looks much better than original. I pulled this off his Deviant Art page. It gives you some different angles of Robert's face on the final product. I think it looks spot on, especially from the side. What do you think?

I cancelled based on the price alone, same with Abomination. Just not worth it IMO, especially since value most likely to recede initially.

I haven't made my mind up on the Abom, there's still time, hopefully I'll be able to chip that $500 monster lil by lil... and maybe it won't hurt the wallet as bad.

I have a different opinion on this. Although I agree that Abomination is too expensive, Mark I is $100 dollars less and the amount of detail in it is worth the price tag. It has two light features and an extra head and it is also a massive looking piece.

Punisher PF was $250, Hulk Pf was $325 a while ago, and these pieces do not have nearly the amount of detail as Mark I does.

So, yeah, $399 seems a lot but if you saw the pictures of how complicated this piece is, even stated by Trevor who re sculpted the head recently, I don't think it is overpriced neither absurd, in my humble opinion.

I think anyone who wants to cancel this Maquette , should watch the BSP again and look for the comments of the sculptors Trevor Grove and Erick Sosa.

Doesnt it only come with the light up chest? Wheres the other light feature?

I was waiting for someone to ask me that....

I made a mistake. hot toys has that feature. It is the red button on his left forearm. Sideshow does not have that unless they decided to change it.....

$400 is pricey but there is NO WAY I'll cancel this, especially now that we've seen that new head sculpt. I think this thing is going to be amazing.

They also need to fix that anatomically weird gap under the right arm and have the eyes be seen through the helmet.

I'm pretty sure you'll be able to see the eyes through the helmet on the exclusive.

Yup, on the exclusive the eyes are clearly visible when you flip down the helmet. On the regular though its a solid piece and the eyes are "blacked" out.
