money seems to be a reoccurring issue with you. the grimlock figure wasnt worth your coin either

as far as your whole, people not having the respect for money that you do, that's laughable at best and pretty pompous to say. $1200 means a lot of different things to different people. maybe just maybe it's not a pinch for some of us or maybe we just want the piece more than you want it, simple as that.

It depends on the financial situation of someone and not cos they don't 'respect money'. Maybe they just have money to spare. If they already have a new Mercedes and pretty much everything else they need, then why would you get that old crappy Mercedes? (Besides if you wanted value for money you would get a Honda or Toyota lol). Next you're going to knock on expensive branded goods etc. People will spend what they like how they see fit, if it's too much money for you to drop on it or you think it's overpriced just don't order it I guess. The Ex is sold out anyways, so I don't think SS is too worried about the sales.

It's a statue, it's not supposed to do anything. If you want to collect the toys go for it, but this is a statue, it's good that they have diversity.

It's like telling a millionaire not to get a Prada wallet because K-mart is next door which sells more sturdy wallets with more compartments. It's ok to spend your money however you wish, but why chastise others spending habits or assume you know anything about them?

If the piece doesn't do that for you, vote with your wallet and don't buy.

Well that mercedes your after must be real heap of junk if you can get it with all the ABS, A/C, power windows etc then insurance and road tax (coz without those whats the point in having the car! if not then all its going to do is gather dust as well coz you wouldn't be able to use it on the roads legally...) and all that for $1200 (£900). I know what I'd rather have if I could afford that sort of money.

I can't wait to get him! He's gonna look sick in my collection. Me, im looking for quality of materials and design- which SS IMHO is fairly consistent with. This bad boy isnt out till next year so there is time for SS to make changes. But i'm happy with how he is. IMHO well worth the $1k+ i shelled out for the Ex. If SS didnt put out such gr8 stuff, i wouldnt be buying.

That would have been nice but considering how often I turn the lights on, not a big deal to me. Now if they had bulbs you could change, then that would be a different story and I could leave it on all the time. Definitely would have liked it tho', and seems like a good idea on this piece.

I am getting this,it looks damn nice but i can understand why people complain about it not having the white stripes around the flames and the symbols on the head,it SHOULD be perfect when it is THAT costly but some are harder to please than others.I didn't like the flames issue at first either but the overall look of this statue is just too awesome so i need to have this one.

Well this is the white line around the flames I suppose. Seems it is part of the colour scheme that shouldn't be missed/skipped. Also there are several spots making me not pleased. Hopefully SS revisits all these aspects if not too late. Can someone please forwards the pics to SS??
