Does this have a filter on it or are the robes that yellow? The face is a big step down from the proto unfortunately, I was really looking forward to this. Guess I'll have to see more pics in normal lighting to see if I'll pick it up eventually, but I'm really bummed so far.

Those cheap octagonal stands drive me nuts. For the ludicrous prices they charge, they really need to include a nice themed base that suits the character.

Reminds me of this concept art I found for their Ash figure. The guy mocked up two great themed bases and Sideshow went with the ol' octagon. For the priced they charged for that piece it just seems like highway robbery.

Its the fact that they do nothing with them most of the time that bothers me. Hell, even if they just screen printed something on top and maybe added the character name it would be a bit better. The black hexagons just come off so cheap as they are and like they put no thought into them.

Don’t really see the difference other than paint

I was really happy with my custom one that I built a few years ago, now i might toss it in a box and get this sideshow one, I love how well they made his outfit, and i'm actually digging the headsculpt. My custom one has been collecting dust and i thought it was awesome but the new sideshow one is begging to be on my shelf. Out with the old and in with the new.

As is the difference of most figures from proto to production. But the difference here is rather huge.

I mean really, compare the paint job on the proto to the release. Also they decided to take away the Ep3 boot color on the release for some reason, and the armor and everything else has better paint in the proto also. The release looks like they airbrushed the face and for some reason the eyes look tearful. It might still be an alright figure, but let's be honest it was a huge step down to what we could have potentially gotten.

That is super! Great looking headsculpt. I wish that Sideshow included a Ewan and a Alec sculpt.

Yeah if the head looked more like the one in that custom I'd be more tempted to get this.
