Why would Sideshow want to stylize a human face? Surely they're aiming for the most authentic likeness, no?

im not saying they made it that way. and im sure they didnt. its the angle the pics in. Cause in the pic he looks great.

And one of them is not being dead.

Well Depp himself clearly thought so: he personally approved the product, and signed the COA's.

On the other hand, I understand Russell Brand personally approved the Sideshow version.

Frankly, when I saw the SS pics, I thought someone did a Jack Sparrow outfit on Jesus. It looks more like Jesus than it doesn Jack Sparrow. And I'm talking about the commercialized statues of Jesus too . . . Personally I don't consider CM even in the running.

SS may need to tweak that face a bit, or bring in a sculptor who can hone it further. It's close, but you can't say it's Depp. Gimme someone who brought Harrison Ford when they made the Indy PF!

looks like some dude at a halloween party.

no offense to CM. they make awsome stuff but they never get human likeness right.

SIDESHOW JACK looks closer to jonny.

No-one needs glasses, no-one is wrong.

This thread is to discuss the PF and everyone is entitled to their own opinion on it. However it has been cleaned up already and will be locked if peeps cannot control themselves and discuss or post constructive criticism on the PF rather than just criticise/insult the previous post/poster.
