I'd rather have Snow Job, Snow Serpent, Torpedo, EELs, Ace, Gung-Ho, Leatherneck or for that matter - Scrap-Iron and his missle system. If we are paying up to $200 bones for a "set", I'd rather it be weaponry than some animal with bad articulation.

I had to throw the trooper knee pads on my SE. The knee pants just were gonna cut it.

So what's the verdict for ppl who have this in hand. Original over new one or vice versa?

The second rlease Snake Eyes is a lot better. AND I LOVE the first one...or did.

I only thing I don't like is the CHEAPER box and removing the consistent glossy box look....Seriously Sideshow, stop changing things

:lecture - New cheaper box SUCKS!

Love the figure. Can't stand Timber...what a waste and a hunk of junk. Useless really. He's a monstrosity.

Someone asked about having him sit... and the answer a disappointing no. He can't really do much of anything...including stand on his own.

Timber is a lost cause.

I have him with my Boromir for a little Game of Thrones vibe.

I was having trouble standing Timber as well and my son grabbed him and had him up in a flash. The problem is there are only a few ways to pose the legs that will make timber stand. And there is just about no give on them.

These new SE portiats are just way too BIG!
I thought these are 1:6 action figures, not bobble heads
:huh
Nice shot Adrosi by the way

It really doesnt appear that way in person. I boil it down to SE just being a difficult character to photograph.

I took a bunch more at other angles and they looked worse. :lecture:lol

They did it across the board it seems for all the newer figures coming out. I personally prefer the newer boxes ya they scratch easier and don't look as great but when I first saw the new box I got a better impression of it then the glossy. Those just felt a little weird looking to me and scratched easy to.

But I understand how people want a consistent packaging across the whole line :gah:

Just a brief comparison between Hawk and SE.

Not sure if it will keep the sky from falling for some of you:

And the pants stay as they are.

The Snake Eyes heads are fine! the figure is great! Don't understand the complaining all the time...must be hot toys syndrome

Hot Toys pricing leads to Hot Toys Syndrome. :lecture

I don't think there's been more, or less, complaining than with any other Joe release. Just about every figure has had very vocal complaining about one aspect or another. Nothing new.

R&R, I think, was one of the few Joe figures that was a total success. I don't remember much griping.

Any chance anyone here have V1 SE, V2 SE, and Creg customs ballistic head to compare them all side by side? I'd love to see it.:panic:

I'd really like to like the V2 SE, but the pictures don't lie...the commando head looks off.

I'm till debating if I should get this or not. :monkey1

Actually in this case they do. Can't go wrong with the Creg either.

When in doubt...buy them all.
