Damn, that sure went fast. Thanks anyway for the heads up!

Yeah they must've had the whole figure there before I got to it. I managed to pick up his webgear for $9, I'm one of the few that really liked it.

They still have his Uzi and those awful hands of his instock.
I hope his sword went to a freak and not a lurker or Hissyfit member.

I agree! Much like the definitive version of the original Snake Eyes was the 1993 Ninja Force version, this is the pinnacle of 12'' figure achievement!

You all need to recognize that sometimes it gets cold and a commando ninja needs his fluffy sweater to keep himself warm! Ninjas need sweaters too!

And ease up on Timber, he can't help it if he's a cross between a wolf, a hyena and a pikachu.

With that, I think there is only one thing that keeps this figure from reaching the perfection that we know as Sideshow Zander figure from the Buffy series.

BRING BACK THE BUCK!!!!!!

:goodpost::exactly::goodpost:

I was just relooking at the pre-order gallery. And SE stills looks awesome. Totally set as my wallpaper now. Downer is that he isnt shipping til September.

This version is the SE I want to have...not that crappy 2009 version.
That thing there is my CCC. :gah:

Ok, so you guys are saying the first version is better. But, it now costs as much as this new one AND still needs to be moded to make it look good.

Well I guess if you add the overhead cost of $50-40 for a TTA body replacement. It's probably more. Potentially. Now if you really wanted Timber and had money to burn, then it would have cost an extra $150 or so for the diorama set ...

So we're looking at $400-500!

Wrong again. Those who bought SE and Timber when they first came out paid MUCH more than SSC is currently asking for the pair, and that's BEFORE mods....

$120 figure, $20 TTA, $15 wolf =/= $199.99. :wave

And you can scratch off another $10 to the left of the equation if instead of the TTA, you bought a ST-1 for $10.

Nobody is talking about the cost of SE and some crappy unofficial $15 Lassie dog. We're talking about SE and Timber. The new pair is much cheaper than the previous set, and better to boot.

Post is oxymoronic. This new version has a a crappy SE and yawning lassie dog (but the mutt costs $52.99).

So you think the new pair is "crappy." Mmm hmm, whatever. But don't pretend that the first OFFICIAL SE and Timber was cheaper than this one. Or if you are going to pretend that don't expect anyone with any sense to believe you.

First official SE didn't come with Timber. And rather than be a pathetic sheep and buy into what was obviously a sham to milk the wallets of naive collectors by having them purchasing a stupid, overpriced corner of a house with a 1/7th scale wolf, took the wiser route and purchased an adequately scaled wolf to resemble Timber. Your point?

Not for those of us who bought it when it came out. :dunno

That is my point. For those of us who do not have one, this is actually pretty good. If you are happy with your first Snake Eyes and think this one sucks and you are not going to get it and think the price is too much, then that is your problem.

But again, those of us who dont have one, i rather have the new one for $200 than have the old one for the same price and still needing to mod it

Ah, apologistic newbs. :lol Speaking of which....

If by "nothin" you mean a simple statement of fact that went completely over your head then yes, that's exactly what I have.

I see you're taking the Adam Savage approach to "facts." :lol

I wouldn't say pretty good. It still needs just as much work as the first to get it look right.

Strange that Sideshow has now had two attempts at the single most popular G I Joe and seems to have fallen short both times :duh

Then again, Sideshow is all about inconsistencies and questionable decision making, so....:dunno
