i thought it was a balacava also, the 1991 snake eyes had the paintball mask.

Agreed, he looks great, but for me, the hard mouth piece should be beneath a balaclava (or a sculpted blaclava). That said, if you're happy with him, really, that's all that matters.

That is a pretty sweet. Far better than Sideshow's re: accuracy.

Thanks, I used an extra Cobra officer head I had, and sculpted the "mouth piece".

Looks great 1KMasks, thats most accurate depiction of Commando Snake Eyes yet. I'd ditch the boots for something more poseable.

I just got a TTM-19 muscle body today and switched the gear and costume from the first SSC Snake Eyes, now I just need CregCustoms Ballistics head, I probably can expect that in a few months.

Is that how it would normally be? Since I sold this one last year, and Im passing on the SS one, Im thinking of remaking him again (Got most of the pieces to make him).

I don't think the Balaclava is 100% accurate either. The file card is king when it comes to defining the characters and I think the original figure defines the look. When it comes to the original Commando SE figure, it looks far more like a Ballistic mask then a Balaclava:

If Sideshow's balaclava head wasn't sculpted so tight looking it would be a great compromise between the two options.

That's what it looks like (something underneath the balaclava) not only on Sideshow's but on Hasbro's 12" Snake Eyes:

Though, as I said earlier, the comics and cartoon always portrayed it as just a straight-up cloth balaclava.

Wow, I've never seen that before and it looks almost identical to the Viper goggles on the Firefly head look my SE has been sporting since March.

Well, thats the cool thing with Snake; hes military and uses various gear. I think he looks cool with the Baclava, Ballistic helmet, and visor. I even like look where soimetimes it seems like hes wearing leather or whatever its suppoosed to be with the heavy stitching. Part of what makes collecting so cool, you don't have to stick with one head.

We need to let him know we need that scuplt in 1/6 scale, I think it's the perfect commando SE scuplt. I would love to see him do one for the Ninja SE too!

I'm considering to get Sideshow's last 1/6 Snake eyes but I could put that money toward Samurai Predator. I'm not really sure what to do. Get both Snake Eyes Figs or get Snake Eyes and Timber and Samurai Predator
