There was no "Ninja" Snake Eyes. There was Commando SE v1 and Commando SE v2. Version 2 came with a wolf.

hopefully out of the two i can get this result, or want sideshow to do the 1985 version later

Nope. Sideshow's first SE was a head to toe rendition of Tim Bradstreet's 2004 reimagining of the character for Devil's Due "GI: Joe Reborn #1" that created a brand new continuity for the characters in 2004. The falchion was just a bone SSC threw to those who remembered better versions of the character.

It absolutely was not a "1985" version of the character. In fact they didn't even use his 1985 dossier for the filecard. They reprinted the text from 1982! 2004 design with a 1982 write-up. With an "extra" sword as the one throwback to 85', and even with that they didn't design a place for him to carry it on his person.

I know its Bradstreet version. But, didnt SS want to make the Joes "real world? The BS version is the real world version of 85 SE, or close to it.

You can stick the new head on the old scrawny body sure but I don't know why you'd want to when it looks much better on this one. I am aware that Timber debuted on the MASS Device which just further lends itself to this being a deluxe figure. You can make a modern version of his goggled look, a modern version of his visor w/sword look, or a MASS Device-style hybrid utilzing goggles AND wolf.

Who said my v1 SE is on a scrawny body? Bottom line, did SS said that the new SE is a deluxe version? If they said it with Commander Cody wouldnt it stand to reason that they would say the same thing about this one?

Cody isn't actually listed as a "deluxe" figure. It was just a term they threw out referring to him prior to his release as him being the first of their "deluxe figures." If you don't like that term use whatever other one you want. This SE actually has significantly more than Cody did as far as different versions go so this can be their first "ultra deluxe" figure if you like. :)

It certainly is more than a straight up interpretation of one specific look with a little throw-away reference to another version like some of their other figures. As I said before this one figure allows for three very specific modern updates of prior SE's. I do wish he came with bare hands and cartoon laser rifle though to truly complete his MASS Device appearance but the wolf plus goggles is close enough IMO.

And you clearly don't know what a deluxe figure is, or any figure allowing enough accessories/headsculpts for multiple looks/versions.

A "delux" figure is a main figure that comes with alternate display options. This SE is the Commando version with extra accessories (keyword there Khev) to either update the old version or incorporate into this new version. Cody was the same principle. The figure was designed as the ROTS Commander Cody, but included an alternate helmet as an accessory for those who wanted to make him into a Phase 1 Cody.

No.

If you are agreeing with SS that Commader Cody is deluxe, then that is exactly what you are saying, because the difference is helmets. I dont see how the new SE is "Deluxe" compared to the other Joes. The only thing that would make it deluxe, imo, is that it comes with Timber.
