Lol. This was one of my most desired pieces and when the oppertunity came I jumped. Had to drop my Storm.EX preorder for it though.

Next on my hunt list is Iron Man 2 Maquette.

Congrats.... very epic statue. Good luck on the I'm 2 Maquette. That's 800-1k only reason I don't own it yet

I'm hoping to get a 1/4 Iron Man maquette in my collection but I'm going to just wait for now. It's either the MK III or VII which I really want. Hopefully SS will eventually make one or the other.

Some time ago in ASK SIDESHOW SSC stated that they have plans to do ALL of the Marks in 1/4 scale at one point or another. I really am hoping for a mark VII Maq or PF... One or the other.

Yeah I'm sure they will. I can't imagine SS releasing more than 1 or 2 in a year but just 1 red IM will do me. Iron Patriot & a War Machine would be nice to

I will pick up WM/ IP if they release him first to satisfy my IM fix until a red/gold or red/ gold/ silver Armor makes a debut.

Mark III, IV, V or VII are ALL ONES I would love to have.. The Mark 42 is a possibility depending on the pose and the paint job

Well after talking to SO many wise people I have decided that I have to have some REAL connection to a character from when I was younger... and it has to be a version of the character that I really care about, and in the end if it just such an AMAZING sculpt that I can't see myself passing on it (but it isn't one of the above) it will have to wait till I have gotten the more important characters I want.

For example I could have gotten an Iron Spider Reg for retail today and a EX of this bad boy for $850, but with it seeming that the Superman PO is coming up in the next few weeks, and a new Classic Spidey coming in the next few months. I decided that it just has to wait.

My sig has been changed slightly to reflect my new rules ...

Well considering that Com of wasn't even IN there ... And replaced Skaar... Won't be changing the old name. I WILL have a classic Spiderman in my collection eventually whether it be the COM or THIS bad boy... Whatever it may be...

The Com was OUT of my realm, but MAYBE soon.

I do have a quick question about the Co guys.... Spidey looks very glossy compared to the wall behind him.... At least in the photos I have seen. Is it that noticeable in person????

Oh no it was more of a question from an artistic point of view. Being honest I wasn't overwhelmed by the com when I first saw it, BUT I have been studying Canale's work, and I have come to see how much amazing detail he put into it. I may never be able to afford it, BUT in the end I am starting to really wish I could see it in person ... You know to see if I am kidding myself and should be pinching more pennies...

He pretty much looks just like this in most lighting.

Well you and I could split the one I was telling you about then SHARE IT!!!! . Like joint custody...lol

I am considering it... I do have to admit I will probably wait to see what the new piece is, and to see if TAS2, which has a classic costume, makes a great PF.
