Still couldn't get them on the phone today...sent an email with a snip of what I got in the NRD confirmation email....I'll update when I hear back...

I looked at my order history and the bundled was there. The email only stated two troopers.

I was going to get two :) But with the HT figs coming out I may hold off.

I spent $190 on this figure.:slap

For $60 more, you can get a fully furred, breakthrough Hot Toys figure of Chewbacca - the figure they said couldn't be done.

Scout Trooper should have been $160 max.

Rant over, back on deck.:blissy

The naiveté of some people, right?

I'd love to get this trooper, but yeah, act now and for 50% more, you can get a super-tall fuzz ball and laugh it up. They'll even throw in a box. I hope.

Cuz he'll be mine next year.

Same here. Might just cut back on one scout trooper. Really reluctant to....:(

Come on - one prototype & you're doing the victory dance. :lol

Wait till they've sold a bunch & the QC complaints pile up.

No doubt, that was tongue-in-cheek and it balances my distaste for their disastrous Solo. Some super nice customs have been done, so it's been obvious for some time that it's possible to get fur to look good. The production process will not be the same as the customs and we need to remember that the people putting these things together are professionals in this industry and they have all manner of shortcuts and experience to greatly simplify the whole thing. Not to mention the decent amount of time they've hopefully spent sourcing materials appropriate for their process.

While I've always thought it was somewhat of a PITA, I've never thought it was impossible nor improbable for a release under $300. I'm excited because it's significantly different than anything else at the moment. And it's Chewbacca! ;)

Disastrous Solo.. :lol

Carefully selecting their materials? Yeah - like their obsession with faulty rubber. I was pretty forgiving with them for a long while, but they've been shooting themselves in the foot a lot lately.

It's good to see they improved the suit on the new Spidey though..

Between the price of this set and the pricing of the recent Hot Toys Chewy and Han reveal, I think I'm seriously considering exiting the Star Wars 1/6th line. I remember picking up ANH Vader for $90 and getting other figures like Leia as Boush for less than that. Not trying to complain but I guess I am :slap

Ooohhh dude dem days is ova! We are living the dream now; two awesome toy companies making awesome 1/6th OT figures AT THE SAME TIME! Gotta just wince and push the pre order button cause we've been waiting our ENTIRE childhood and adulthood for this... very... moment!
Prices most assuredly are on the up swing and maybe we'll see some equalization if the new efforts knock people's socks off, but let's face it, people willing to pay these prices are becoming fewer and fewer in number, so yes, these prices are here to stay.

I was happy at the price for chewie. I figured it would have been 4 to 5 hundred dollars because of the fur on the figure and the new body design

Speaking of QC issues, since I placed my order via SSC, does that give me access to HT parts if, say, Chewie's weapon is busted upon delivery? Since a lot of us are going to be dealing with HT on a more frequent basis, this is gonna be important

It also tends to be hit or miss and depends on the commonality of the defect. I was missing a part on iron patriots foot and got a whole new leg. Issues with samurai pred, Spiderman, ed 209 one of the batman figures got offered refunds. Sometimes it's the luck of the draw. You get the defect out there first and you might get a replacement. It becomes systemic and no one else gets replacements only refunds or 10% off.

Now that I think of it, I ordered a HT iron man figure for a buddy and he was missing a part. ordered via SSC, and they sent me a new part........but not surprised to hear of the difficulty overall

Couldn't of said it better myself. I planned on getting the Scout Trooper but compared to Hot Toys Han or Chewie? Id kick myself.

Sad thing is, I can only swing one figure right now even though I have 30 bucks in reward points...

Im Leaning towards Chewie but what good is a LONELY WOOKIE?

Anyone know or have the link to the non exclusive Scout Trooper page anywhere...???
