I've been charged. My shipping was $16.80. I think that is pretty much what it as always been for me. Item shipping soon.

Does BBTS 1/6 Sideshow figures come in individual brown factory boxes like HT's do, or do they just come in case fresh color boxes? Then ship them in the BBTS brown shipper?

I think the last SS SW fig I got from BBTS was the probe droid, and that was shipped in the BBTS box, no SS shipper.

That makes sense. When shipping to a business they ship a minimum order, at least 2 or more figures, all color boxes in one large brown shipping box and that's one order. When shipping to a consumer, they normally order only one figure, so that would be shipped in the brown shipper we all get that just needs a label.

Just did a live chat with SS regarding this. She assured me SS does not make a profit from shipping and that we as customers receive a discounted rate in fact. SS must get the absolute worst rate UPS offers if this is true.

She also suggested because I got the exclusive with the rifle it might cost more. I wasn't aware the rifle was 1:1 and made of steel.

:lol:lol:lol WTF?? I still love 1/6th SW, but I just can't get past the feeling that we're being totally raped in this hobby. Can't wait to see the price on Quicksilver. He comes with Hands and a Stand. :lol

ky_jelly_300.jpg maybe this will help ease our pain.

I think they have a good international rate considering it is $30 to post a normal 1/6 figure to Australia. However to pay more than $15 to just post in the same state seems pretty expensive.

$18.06 shipping to Chesapeake Virginia. Wow! Never been that high for a bare bones figure. Should have been the same price as the clones. $10-$12.

Sideshow stopped using the shipper boxes and now just using a sideshow box. Can't remember the last SS figure I got in an individually marked shipper. Maybe Harley Quinn?

They've started using bigger boxes than they did in the past. The Hoth figures were in bigger boxes, maybe due to the new stand and snow base design. R2 had a different shaped box. Don't know if that is screwing up their old $10 flat-rate ship. Didn't their Vader ship initially for $10? That looks like a calculated rate now too. It's pretty nuts that CA is $16 and NY is $18 for the Scout--not that i want it to be more over here.

But honestly with the coupon and not having to pay taxes, I can't really complain about the $8 difference, which is covered in rewards. Crap, I never got to use a coupon on this one.:gah:
