Guys, i get where you are all coming from regarding the shipping costs. But just spare a thought for us international customers that not only have to pay more in shipping, but also have the exchange rate to factor in on a continuously declining dollar.
But yeah, sideshow need to show a bit of consistency on how they charge for their customers! Or they will lose some!

When it comes to certain commodities our US brethren don't always know how good they've got it. If I paid $18 for a box the size of a SSC package, It wouldn't even get it to the next suburb never mind another state. These low US postage costs are a direct result of low running costs such as fuel. If only we could pay $0.77 a litre for fuel, now that truly would be living the American dream.

Regardless where you live. I get you pay more because you live abroad, but the shipping rates here have doubled for some like me. I live about 6 hours away from ssc,and I am paying 20.37 for shipping whereas I was paying just recently 10.00 for the same size boxed figure. Not our fault we do not have to pay customs and other fees because ssc is in the U.S.A. So please do not make it seem like us yanks over here do not know how good we got. One of benefits not having socialism here and all the extra taxes that go along with it.

Well just called SSC CS and was informed the increase is due to box size...what? Funny, Vader's box was hugh and wasn't $18.06 to ship! Also because I got the EX, flat shipping doesn't apply...what? Honestly not trying to sour grapes here, just seems kind of shady.

As someone said earlier, the EX comes with the rifle. We didn't realize it was 1:1 scale.
I've noticed a number of items now have higher than usual shipping charges but I hate to say it but with these EX Scouts they know they are sold out/waitlisted, the final payments on Flexes are being charged and to cancel now will cost a fee higher than the additional shipping. Why not tack on a few bucks extra to the shipping? There's no other reason I can think of. Box size is BS. I just had a Hoth Han shipped for $10 and I can't see the Scout being much bigger. I've had PF statues shipped for less than this figure will be.
Sure it's only $8.06 but it's the principal and this along with increased prices and NRDS it's only going to push customers away or lessen pre orders while people wait for the best prices once items are released.
I'm done rambling.

Guys shipping on the non-exclusive is identical to the exclusive. Don't know why CS said that, but this is not like the Marty McFly situation.

Edit: Actually, shipping on the regular looks like it's $2.50 more for me.

If you think socialism doesn't exist in America, you haven't been paying attention. Public Libraries, the Police and Fire Dept, Postal Service, Public Schools the Polio Vaccine and on and on... That's all socialism mate.

You know me, I have the worst camera ever. But I'll try my best, definitely give a review of first impressions which may be more valuable.

Also might try my camera phone to see if those pics look better -- I just hate the warping you get on close ups on a Galaxy.
